I read the guide on how we can tighten the slider ourselves but don't quite get it. Anyone did it before and manage to get good results? smile.gif

have u manage to open up ur phone??

the tape(sticker).. stick it into the inside of the black metal.. the inner part that going to contact with the plastic...

the purpose is to push DOWN the white plastic to be more firm with the screen body..

hope I understand ur english this time.. and hope u understand my too..

another way of doing it is to bend the black metal.. but this is more difficult to achieve and more risky.. ..

good luck..

I Agree With You.. Actually The Nokia Maps (smart2go) Is Very Good As Well.. But Too Bad It's Not Free... sad.gif I Activated The 3 Days Trial For smart2go.. It's Very Nice.. Especially The Voice Navigation.. Can Adjust Volume.. Not Like MapKing 2007.. So Loud.. (Or Is It Just Me?)

Sorry if this has been posted before, here is how to bypass 3 days trial on MAPKING2007. After 3 days apps will expired do this :

{Delete the only file in 'system' folder in ur card, it should have number such as 124XXXXXX or something. Numbers are random I think so there's no way u can do that.
To be sure, check the file u want to delete first by opening it with notepad, it will have the installed map name together with the date installed.
Delete it. Don't worry, the app will generate a new one for you with a new date, therefore, the days will be back to 3 days again.}

Yup, Nokia Maps is the best navigation software for GPS enabled Nokia phones, beats the other app like Mapking, TomTom, Navigon, etc hands down thumbup.gif It is specifically built for the Nokia after all.

yaosiang, so u decide not to continue the license after the 3-days usage eh?

For Now I Will Stay With MapKing 2007.. I Rather Spend The Money To Buy Garmin Mobile XT Which Can Support The N95 Integrated GPS (Software Only, Without The 10X)... But For Now I Still Cannot Find Where To Purchase It.. Remember Garmin Mobile XT For Symbian Can Support The Maps From malsingmaps.com smile.gif

Well, It's Up To The User.. If He/She Feels That The Slider Is Loose, Then It Means That The Slider Needs To Be Tighten.. smile.gif  If You Are Happy With Your Current Slider (Although It Is Loose), Then Just Stay With It.. Remember, Original Sets Can Get Slider Replacement For Free.. I Asked At Nokia Center In Sunway Pyramid.. They Wanted To Replace My Slider But There Was No Stock At That Time.. They Asked Me To Go Berjaya Time Square..  smile.gif  But I Didn't Go After That..
*
I'm not sure if my slider is loose. But based on the description of moving left and right when slider is opened, I went to the Nokia Care Center in 1U to upgrade software and asked for a change. But the center refused to change, saying that it is supposed to be like that. Do you think I have better luck with other centers? I called Sunway, they said they are closed for renovation...
