Unsure for now but even if we can't in the beginning, someone would manage to break it eventually Nokia [Nokia(tm) N95 Official V3 Thread], It's what computers have become

Sigh.
I'm in big trouble, here's what happened. 1) Called Maxis to send me my 3G settings. 2) Settings received. Happy. 3) Tried surfing the web, got error message which read "Packet Date: Connection not allowed" or something along that line. 4) Fiddled and fiddled with settings. Found on the net that the source of problem is the "APN Control" option under the "Connection" settings. The connection restrictions were activated so I had to deactivate it. 5) Clicked on deactivate connection restrictions, was prompted for PIN2 code. 6) Tried once, twice, thrice. BANG! PIN2 code rejected! 7) Asked for PUK code instead. Called Maxis and got my PUK code. 8) After entering the PUK code, the phone asked me to set a new PIN2 code. Kept trying and trying but it kept saying "CODE ERROR" everytime I enter 4 digits. 9) After a couple of tries, I wasn't prompted to enter neither the PUK nor the PIN2 code anymore. 10) Tried deactivating the APN Control, no response at all. Everytime I click on the deactivate tab, nothing happens, connections still restricted. Still not web-surfing for me. 11) PIN2 still blocked. What should I do? Anyone know the solution? If not I'll drop by Maxis to change a new sim card Thanks. |

QUOTE(ali86 @ Sep 18 2007, 03:38 PM) I just installed mind and it works well!Firstly u execute the MapKing2007_S60 (Program) and it will ask to extract to C:\mapking\download then u click ok. Secondly u execute the Malaysia_S60_Eng (Map) and it will ask to to C:\mapking\download then u click ok. Then u put ur memory into card reader. Go to C:\Mapking\Download\MapKing2007_S60 then u double click on MapKing2007_S60 and follow the instruction. Same goes with the map, C:\Mapking\Download\Malaysia_S60_Eng double click on Malaysia_S60_Eng and follow the instruction. To comfirm with the installation u can go to memory card and check whether a folder name mapking has been created and browse thru a folder name map see got files in it or not? After that, u insert ur memory card into ur phone. Goto Tool-File Manager-Memory Card and search for mapking2007_S60.sis and install. I installed it in memory card. Walah! U r done! Can start navigationg with Mapking! This post has been edited by joshuawong: Sep 18 2007, 04:03 PM |
