Fren, if all banks the same, there is no need differentiation. Software not same. SOP not same. PBB no need tag for any fund transfer now. Just a one time registered pin. HLBB requires tag for non favourite account fund transfer. So, no banks can be the same in everything. This post has been edited by mini orchard: Oct 26 2020, 02:57 PM

QUOTE(boxer07 @ Oct 26 2020, 01:30 PM) called . they told me havent open my account yet , despite i signed my loan agreement on June 2020...wow ... i mean wow... Public Bank.. That means your loan is not yet disbursed so you can’t tagged any account at this moment. This also means you no need to start payment.

You can stick to ocbc if you prefer their online banking. Every bank excels at different areas, I supposed youre taking PB's due to lower rate as compared to foreign bank? QUOTE(lazytobuild @ Oct 26 2020, 12:00 PM) The note number can be 00010, 10010, 30010, 10011 etc... So is best that you check your loan statement or call your branch and ask for it. Wont takes long for them to answer you just a question, note no. 00010 refers to what loan? housing or personal?

QUOTE(tytung @ Apr 24 2021, 02:40 PM) just a question, note no. 00010 refers to what loan? housing or personal? my banker say it just refers to the loan account they open, like when opening e-Fixed Deposit on PBB it's labelled 001, 002 etc. for each new deposit This post has been edited by DragonReine: Apr 24 2021, 08:46 PM

If I recalled correctly, I will be given a loan account number after the offer is accepted by me, witnessed and processed by lawyer and after the bank manager has approved to do the account opening.
I think most of us are using SI method. When go to bank to do SI, only account number will be shown in the slip.
After first drawdown, bank and lawyer sent mail to me. and the following month the bank will send me the payment slip to start to pay interest (since I am buying a unit under construction). And there will be a note number on the payment charges. So better make sure sufficient amount is in the bank saving account.
So what I did was I linked the loan account manually on PBE.

Hi everyone
I just received a call from PBE regarding my islamic housing loan application. The banker said if he approves my loan, I must sign the offer letter by tomorrow. Otherwise, he will get penalty due to ISO issue/branch turnaround time. Is there such thing? Btw, he is the friend of my property agent. I am buying a subsale unit in Subang. My applications with other banks are still pending. Should i sign the offer letter now and back out letter if I manage to get a better offer? Please advise.

That's what I have been thinking too. I feel like they are trying to put me under pressure to accept the loan right away. I am still awaiting feedback from other banks so that I can choose the best deal of all. If I sign now, who knows that I might get penalty for cancelling the offer letter due to the possible availability of their ISO issue.

Just make sure you do not sign anything until you finish comparing first.
