Ordering direct from US will cost you US$70 .. I was eyeing the red clear case by Speck but it way too expensive buying one .. and nobody seems to be interested in bulk buying (which should reduce the freight cost considerably). Anyway, am going to S'pore next weekend .. most probably give some Mac shops there a visit.

Wow.. something that will prevent scratches but add on extra thickness to your MBP.

If you sayang your MBP so much, go skin it lah lol. Easier.

I think you can get one for an Apple MacBook (not PRO Version) in Machines in Ikano. My school mates bought theirs from there.

like what you have said, rm7k notebook and 90% scratch proof...
does it mean you need to put extra protection brother?

u take it out from ur beg, you put it back into the beg....
you might accidentally put ur laptop in a rough surface... (maybe)
accident could happen anytime man... just make sure it scatches the hard case, but not the laptop..
i'd feel safe to carry my laptop around...

hard case + sleeve will do a good job...

umm wouldn't this keep the heat in the machine and speeds up the wear and tear of the MBP from the inside instead?

i confess im a little ignorant when it comes to protective casing and such for laptops. but wouldnt this add bulk and ugly-ness (my opinion) to an already well-designed minimalist machine?

Did a test on ordering part, 5 cases .. freight is at US$29. I guess if we could do a bulk order of 10 cases in one go, it will surely reduce the freight/piece we need to fork. Anyone has done bulk order from overseas before? Do you have problem with customs? Do we need to pay taxes?
