Hi, I am owning a Myvi and my Road Tax and Insurance is gonna to expire soon.
I am not sure whether should i continue to renew my existing PERODUA Total Protect Plus or looking for "3rd Party" Insurance. Understand that PERODUA Total Protect Plus is also underwritten with some other company like Zurich etc.
Anyone can share your experience on this.
If you renew the existing PERODUA Total Protect Plus, how you made payment of it? Can use Credit Card to pay Insurance Premium at the Car Dealer or just fund transfer? Do they charge any "extra" fees if they accept. Did you go back to the same dealer where you brought the car from for the renewal?

If you renew the insurance outside aka 3rd Party, have you ever facing issue when claim for your car (in case you had accident before), as i can't find my preferable PERODUA Service Center under Panel Workshop. But car still under warranty so i am afraid if any issue with my car, i cant sent it to PERODUA Service Center and claim..

Need advise on this since this is my first car. Thanks.

Came here for a review but can't find any. This is also my 1st hire purchase car so I'm currently waiting for a quote from perodua with the same preferred insurer, if the price is also the same by a small margin I might go for the total protect thing compared to online renew.

Etiqa got cashback thingy which is great if you rarely drive the car. Curious if the total protect allows the same cashback or is it gonna be like dealing through an agent.
