I was suspended from the 8th to the 11th of August and I wish to let the board admin know what I make of it.

I was suspended for this post:



on the grounds of supposed "unnecessary use of profanities/flaming." and "Flaming with abusive words"

So are you going to suspend everyone who curses now?

Please take into consideration the context of the post rather then the post in its isolation.

1. I started a thread asking why Malaysian cars don't come with airbags as standard to encourage a proper (if informal) discussion on the situation.


2. wild_card_my, who is famous for her habits of turning every thread she posts in into a racial mudslinging accuses me of trying to flamebaiting the posters into bashing the government and Proton. If anything, she was the one who baited me into an argument (which she always does with non-muslims btw).

3. Check the rest of my posts in that particular thread. They were completely polite and civilised.

4. wild_card_my claimed to have the answers but did not contribute towards the question, she chose to attack me instead.

5. wild_card_my openly condemns anything that does not fit into her religious ideals (eg drinking etc) and is very self-righteous and condescending about it as opposed to constructive and polite while delivering her reasons, whatever they may be.

6. I was admittedly harsh with my post but harshness does not equate to flaming. Please take particular note of this.

7. I cannot believe I was suspended for mere profanities while I see racially-incindiary threads (which I purposely chose not to participate in) being allowed to continue.


This is not intended to malign anyone, I just wish to see a more just and engaged enforcement of moderation policies and wielding of punishments.

Your feedback is appreciated. I believe your suspension was mostly due to the fact that your profanities were directed towards another member, thus making it a personal attack on another member. You should have been more friendly and courteous, and where not possible, simply ignored this user, or reported him so we can take action.

Having read that thread where it happened, I admit that wild_card_my/mypetridish was certainly not innocent as well and ideally should have been given a similar suspension for her role in it. However, I think the reason for that was he wasn't reported, you were.

To answer point 7, a couple of days ago we began enforcing strictly the rule whereby no religious/racial threads would be allowed in Kopitiam.

So the question here now is whether if shes a real girl or a tarp, ive always suspected her as mypetridish due to similar style of posting or it could be that all that trip to study overseas has made her to express herself even better. I also remember a post where she met someone from rochester NY who claims hes a lowyater, could it be mypetridish?So who has has ever met her? is she what she claims to be due to her safe trader tag im sure shes met and trade with a lot of you guys.
