I'm considering to install full aluminium trackless folding gate which is quite commonly in the market now.
But I was told that it is pricey and may have some issue on the pillar support/trackless gate mechanism.
Appreciate any of you to share your thought and the cost based on your experiend.

ALERT! Future potential Trackless AutoGATE buyer. I am in commercial dispute with one of the Fxxxlli Trackless Aluminium manufacturer. On the first day when installation just completed, owner already highlighted the obvious manufacturing defects visible to untrained naked eyes, but Manufacturer Failed to honor the manufacturing warranty, self-relief the the Manufacturer from any relation with the purchase, because buyer brought it from Local Authorized Distributor/Dealer, and not from DigiXXXXX MSC Sdn Bhd...LOL

On paper 5 year warranty (with a lot of oppressive clauses to the buyer)

Initially I thought so. There ain't many famous brands in this market. I was thinking to go for the customized trackless autogate or opt for this "famous" brand.
From engineering perspectives, that Fxxxli brand design is more to my liking and easier for maintainability, as I am a hand-on person.
But the after-sales and warranty claims from manufacturers, may most likely, problematic and troublesome.
First day problem already hard to claim. Imagine after N-years(within 5 years).

Nevertheless, the modular design is excellent and installation work done by local installer is good. A good local designed product, but plagued with manufacturing process issues, and non-customer oriented after sales services. What a shame.

Lesson learnt: Famous does not equate to reputable or reliable.
