Too bad they don’t have c716 65”... only 50 and 55...

So I ordered one from shopee. From Pahang, same seller i think... very fast shipping... hopefully tomorrow can get it...

Just got my c716 65” less than 24 hr shipping time....

Now watching 4k on 65”... man this is another level...

Yep.. very fast... i ordered around 1 pm...and by 5.30pm already trackable...

Not sure which firmware... try to update..but it said latest firmware already installed.

So far so good...hope nothing bad happen...

I had not really watch TV for the last 5-6 years.... maybe less than 1 hour per week...

My source of entertainment for that matter has always been my iMac and ipad... and phone....

When I subscribed to apple music, I want to link my music to my audio amplifier and story short... bought the apple tv and this TCL 65...

now I'm glued to this TV... watching netflix, youtube, listening to music... this is just different kind of experience...

bought my c716 in feb this year. Running great. but in July, suddenly no video. difficult to get to their service team. I tried method found in web resetting the tv.

Ok for a day and happen again. when i powered on, it will load android, and few second later no video. the 4 amber leds light on.

when finally got to their service, they gave me firmware file. so i done the update and it was running well until last week (4 months later).

now it happen again, and their service just unrsponsive….

anybody face same problem?

I did whatsapp them for the first problem and current one.

Always a 2-3 days after they response... The current problem, the service whatsapp asked me to contact other person...

But I'm super busy right now... just got promoted and meeting almost daily... so no time to watch tv... no time to complain to them.. poor me...

Just now they responded... lets see how they do it this time.

They want me to reflash the firmware with the same one they provided me last time..

Cannot check on my tv… no video…🤦🏽‍♂️

Later tonight I'll check when I got home.

Ok.. the file they provided me is V8-R851T02-LF1V606

Apek technician came yesterday to swap main board of my c716 tv... problem same... not solved... he communicated with TCL service... TCL service asked to come later to swap power board pulak...

I don't think it has to do with power board... got some 5 years experience working in Samsung factory in Seremban... I think the LCD unit got problem... Apek think the same...

so the apek technician came today morning and change the power board… so far looks ok..hopefully problem solved
