Yea, probably you are not to use frequent updates, but at least they working on any kind of improvements.
And this year is major update to Android 11 (seems they will skip Android 10).
Btw,
you can try yourself....not satisfied...any time can go back to previous version.

I didn't see any complain on shopee on Pahang seller 65C716 TV.
As I know ,seller is OK guy (I bought from him also).
To check if TV is used before,can check hours in service menu....In the picture settings
menu, choose "Contrast" and at this point type: 6425.....under - Running Time

Another thing, what is software version installed in replacement (second) TV?

Btw,
packing (box) has been untouched,before you open ?
Is very unusuall that in both packing have this.

Your both picture is from first TV.
Second TV ...no picture.

Edit:
Every restart manually/Quick Start OFF or reset by TV setting.... in About/Status ..Up Time will be also reset.
Cumulative RunTime only/always running in Service menu and can't be reset.

Way to much....it's mean Second TV had been used before at least for 1 week.
This pic you can send to seller also.

Btw,
do NVM and Shop reset before you turning back TV (resetting all email and passwords).

Many suggest after firmware update to do Reset Shop and is no bad, just must type all emails and passwords back,
picture/sound settings bring to default and DTV channels must scan again....but most important all application from previous firmware are untouch.
Is better then factory reset in which you lost all application (except TCL default app) .

Mostly of your questions is answered in previous posts....just need to read...
Btw, in shot...

1. I using Low Power mode
2. Any firmware can be upgrade (or downgrade) by USB FAT32 (NTFS also working) by About/Local Update....
Zip file should be copy to USB (V8-R851T02-LF1V620.018337.zip) , sometime need to change USB.
3. I downloaded any (TV) app in my PC, then copy to USB, insert USB on TV and by TV Guard/App manager install.
No need additional app to do this. Beside Netflix (Prime I disabled), I got Plex, Sofa TV, MagellanTV,...etc
4. Agree with @smaelz83....btw, Netflix Dolby Vision...no Atmos.....YouTube only HDR10/HLG.... no Atmos.

Apps which I didn't use I disabled or deleted by ADB_AppControl, as is easy to use.
Need app and adb driver for you PC.

Edit:
With ADB_AppControl you can also install any app (from PC..no need USB as discribed above) or save app from your TV to your PC.
