The R709 also introduced picture motion control option...great!

A quick question guys, looking for a 65inch Android TV around this price. Should I go for this TCL model or should I go for Sony KD65X80AJ or Sony KD65X8000h.

I am not a gamer, primarily usage is TV, Netflix, Astro Sport, YouTube etc.

Thus, it's more on the picture quality and refresh rate I guess.

Yes.. Go for it.. Just the downside is stock firmware a bit laggy.
If you update or follow Stasio recommendations the experience with console much better..

As you can see now android box or my PC i can directly run at TV. Unifi TV, Netflix, Disney+, SyberTV (for astro), KODI, TCL Media Player (for play movies from my NAS.. Yes it can support Atmos via Dolby Digital Plus) and also my Plex server.. All in 1.. I love it.

I'll currently waiting for my 50 inch C716..

just received my TCL tv . right now when play 60fps video on youtube there some pink effect when there were fast movement
is this normal?

First you check your TV firmware installed.
You know how to flash firmware ?
You can go to V649 straight.

Try to reset all the picture setting to default and readjust to your liking

I don't have any issue watching sport programs with fast scene...may be can turn off the digital noise reduction and noise reduction.

I'm on ver 709...they included motion clear control in the setting. But I didn't encountered any issue on the previous firmware too.

After 2 days viewing its getting better..no more pink tint and motion issue

Also has using stasio recommendate calibration setting and very satisfy with the color setting

Watching transformers in apple tv showing dolby vision very pop the colour right now only has apple tv , disney+ and netflix maybe afterward will try amazon prime

Just the upscaling is a bit let down when seeing astro normal channel the picture is so soft..other than that very satisfy with the purchase

do you guys know where to find this TCL C716 remote cover case? cannot find any with RC901V online. My daughter like to throw away the remotes at house

HLG still OK.
Must be some fine tune for V649, as compiled 3 days after.

Sorry, a newb. Does this mean we have to have a better after market LAN Cable? Normal LAN that we usually use are not up to it?

May I know the significant difference between P715 & C716? Which model would you recommend?

Since this is the C716 topic, the C716 would be the recommended model.

The significant difference is colors that are more accurate due to the inclusion of Quantum Dot film layer.
