a little late trying 2 join test race last night -session already closed. anyway ive got plenty to work to keep up wit u guys judging from the thursday night practice session

yup i noticed the tyre indicators during practice on Thursday

on the gas n brake thingy, now u can see realtime while drivin with that plugin, u know the gas, brake n gforce indicator.

tido lewat nanti takleh bangun sahur pulak - baik practice after sahur sampai pagi, lepas tu tido balik sampai zohor lol

madnor - kamu dah order matrox triple display? graphic cards dah cukup power - what lcd size u r planning to have? 3 x 19"? 3 x 22"? tapi kalu anything above 19" all widescreen right.

PCC2007? - i sense people want to use their G25 h-shifter! and clutch shifting

u shud be quicker with the the paddle shifter - plus much easier to drive. Manual clutch n h-shifter just add to the realism, u know driving more basic race cars non equip with sequential gearbox like in real life. also get to practice some heel-toe technique! woohoo! lol
[correct me but i believe the porsche series still using normal h-shifters, n manual clutch]

clutch-wise, i dunno if the rfactor engine can really simulate, i have a feeling its not quite there yet - u can still downshift without pressing the clutch in rfactor even when clutch set to manual, but who am i to talk bout real race car n the variations of race gearboxes etc. ??

wahlau ramai dah pakai G25 - kalu sume dah convert bolehla try racing w force manual clutch - bagi berpeluh sikit kaki tu. tp kalu F1 tak bole la

btw korang yg pakai g25, h-shifter tu kamu letak kiri or kanan? saja nak tau [mine on the right at the moment]

i am not sure but i think those car accessories shop normally dun sell a single seat but in pair - they put price for one for marketing purposes

the local made one i think is SSCUS - but if low on budget look at buysell.com and get 2nd hand ones - if sell in pair u guys kongsi la

me n ron use honda prelude seats - me got a pair badly worn seats for free, spent bout RM100+ to refabric

marra - google around for hall sensor mod to momo pedals - u dun need to worry about pot maintenance and spike again - i know coz im using em now for my pedals

hi guys - sori didn't finish the test race prev night, for the first time i think i quit coz feeling a little tired to continue - anyway i really enjoyed first time driving the new porsche mod. the car is more predictable to me, and can correct better, so actually can push, despite myself not quick really.

i drove with manual clutch n h-shift during practice, but switched to paddle during quali n race. with manual clutch n h-shift over 10s off the pace, need more practice but is fun.

tested at varano just now - fun car to drive the clio

lol sori dude, first i have dzariq charging with crazy paces eating 2-3s a lap, second i am struggling with the car - not really defending the line, just trying to get the car to turn in time - honestly

hey dzariq u cutting track ka?? nah i was getting slower n slower

thanks for the tips - i will try the virtual mirror if the actual mirrors are no good - i think we all shud try, u know maybe we can avoid colliding with each other better during overtaking or lapping slower cars/letting race leaders past.

on wet racing - if it comes to rfactor i guess i need to upgrade my rig already.

lastly - am still having this pause during game in rfactor, luckily in our last session i had it twice during practice and not during race - still cannot figure our what is the problem, my rig?? or rfactor intallation?? or??

ola, guys just back from traveling this week - had a good real life 4wd driving on rough tarmac, driving, the road was quite empty so i had a little fun - almost lost it a few times

had to read quite some pages here - alamak show off driving rig again - i already posted in older threads, maybe for our new friends here let me check if i still keep some photos.

- attached are older photos of my rig, made some modifications recently- mod the keyboard holder, and finally put some centering spring for the h-shifter.

lol i pick up a puncture after hitting something on the track - engine overheat while pitting too long coz repairing something else as well

had to tone down everything to medium for this track - fps was bad

im having this problem since day 1 - i cannot run spotter config -getting an error msg. tried reinstalling but same thing. ??

i did not know that u can restart engine in F1 mod - my engine went dead due to too overheat too long in the pit for repair in the last test race.
