Mod : FSONE 2006 version 1.7

IMPORTANT UPDATE ! PLEASE READ POST # 3.

RACE SCHEDULE

Race will be held on Fridays. All time in +8 GMT.

Practice : 9.30 pm - 10 pm
Qualify : 10.00 pm - 10.15 pm - 1 flying lap
Warm Up : 10.15 pm - 10.25 pm
Race : 10.25 pm - 50 laps

Race distance will be 75 percent. Fuel usage and tyre wear will be normal.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN MSR LEAGUE

1. rFactor game.
2. Steering wheel (Logitech MOMO, Logitech G25 etc etc).

HOW TO JOIN MSR LEAGUE

1. Buy rFactor game from : www.rfactor.net . The current price of the game is USD 39.90.
2. Read the current season rules at the current season thread.
3. Download the necessary mod and track files. The files can be downloaded from www.rfactorcentral.com. Registration (free) is required to download the files. Links to the files also available from www.malaysiansimracer.com and at the current season thread in this forum.
4. Select your car and send a pm to the league administrators.
5. The admin will then pm you the server name and password.
6. New drivers also required to pm their email address for our MSR newsletter.

Season 4 League Announcement

1. All drivers need to install the Relay program to join our servers.

Some HIGH PRIORITY Update Joining The Server.

Below is the step for you guys to join the server. MANDATORY.

1) Download and install the relay client.

ISI has released rFactor version 1.255

For those that wish to update from v1250 to the v1255 here is some information before you proceed.

This update was created to address some online security issues, add additional overall stability, and match the new retail DVD version recently released in Europe. The update consists of these files:
rFactor.exe
rFactor Dedicated.exe
Plugins\NetCommUtilPlugin.dll

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to reactivate rFactor if you upgrade to v1255. Before you do this, find or get your original confirmation email. Make sure you can locate your Activation Number, Order Number and email address used. If you need a new confirmation email sent out to you, visit this site:

Download the update from any mirror site. First move the original files into a \Backup directory. Unzip the contents of the update ensuring you replace all three files. Once you run the new version of rFactor, it will ask you to Buy/Unlock. If you need to have your email changed or your activations reset, please send a request to purchase at rFactor net

The retail version 1255 is a compilation of
Full version 1150
Brianza and Jiading circuits
Update version 1250
Panoz Esperante and 2007 Sauber BMW F1 vehicle add-ons
Update version 1255


Q: Can I play online with people who have the retail DVD.
A: Yes, so long as you have upgraded to v1255.

Q: While this update work if I have v1150 or below?
A: No, this update will only work on v1250.

Q: Is there a full install for v1255.
A: There is a retail DVD version of 1255 and a digital version will be made available in the future.


BUT PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE YET UNTIL THE ADMINS GIVE THE GREEN LIGHT. IF YOU UPDATE FIRST, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JOIN OUR SERVER

4. Effective this season, if a driver missed two consecutive races without informing the League administrators, the drivers' car will be freed up for newcomer to the league to pick.

Okay... let me explain the system. Let says season 3 got three drivers. Each driver got three choice for Season 4.

Season 4 cars :

i. Car A1
ii. Car A2
iii. Car A3
iv. Car A4

so ; Driver S = 1st choice : Car A2, 2nd choice : Car A3, 3rd choice : Car A4
Driver T = 1st choice : Car A2, 2nd choice : Car A1, 3rd choice : Car A3
Driver U = 1st choice : Car A2, 2nd choice : Car A1, 3rd choice : Car A4


At the end of season three, the final league standings look like this :

1st : Driver S
2nd : Driver T
3rd : Driver U

Okay obviously by finishing 1st, Driver S get his first choice : Car A2. The second driver in the final league standings, Driver T, couldnt get his first choice since its already taken by Driver S. So we move on to Driver T second choice, Car A1. Since nobody has taken the car so he gets Car A1. Lastly, Driver U. Since his 1st and second choice has been already taken by S and T, so he get his third choice : Car A4.

So season 4 line up looks like this

Driver S = A2
Driver T = A1
Driver U = A4

Nurburgring by ISI
Barcelona by ISI

US - as the F3 track we used earlier
Monza by ISI
China by ISI
