QUOTE(Redline @ Sep 9 2007, 10:17 PM) edison, Ya, already download and update, no more bump at first corner.. thanksi saw u mismatch on the server, u need to download the shakir.tdf file from here: http://www.downloads.gamer-hosting.com/upl...ails.php?file=9 they are testing the bump fix mara, i have successfully install the liveviewplugin on the server, it will sent the report to our MSR website in realtime, look in the live folder, it save in *.txt format, now we need to find someone whois good in transforming the live data to be intergrated in the website. its similiar with the F1-live.com, we can see live result without entering the rFactor. people on the server now = PCcrazy, Pitt & Ryugan BTW, No test race during fasting month and Yes to replace Sepang circuit. |

There are many NFS-ian or other arcade racing gamer in malaysia, except sim racing gamer. If total up LFS and rF gamers, probably only 50++ sim racer from Malaysia.
There are many PC games car racing competition, but all are for arcade mode, like NFS series, even WCG also ran NFS series. IMHO, there are only 1 reason why people afraid of sim racing, don't know how to do car setup. That why many people stay with arcade racing games or aids on when playing sim racing, as they no need worry about car setup. IMHO, to promote MSR or rF, we may be can do some kind of online driving school. From here, everyone can start from basic, steps by steps to become pro racer. This concepts same like real world driving school, only different is that we do it online, use race car and rF as platform. Senior in MSR will be in charge the sessions, teach new comer, how to setup the car, what setting need to do first and etc. From there, new comers can learn from those seniors, as well improve their skills. IMHO, this will attract more people to join sim racing world and most important, MSR. p/s: just my opinions. Added on September 24, 2007, 3:28 pm QUOTE(sober07 @ Sep 24 2007, 03:02 PM) Actually we no need worry about wheel, as karom can give MSR special price This post has been edited by edison_84: Sep 24 2007, 03:28 PM |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Sep 24 2007, 03:39 PM) actually, pittqis used to play with PS2 gamepad Ya, but not everyone know that, when they see sim racer can do good lap, they thought those sim racer are born to race, but in fact its not. Sim racer also like real world racers, start from basic, learn from mistakes to improve themselves.edison : good idea. but they must willing to learn. I always said that you can never be fast in your first out lap, just try and learn the circuit plus the behavior of your car. I believe we always share setup in our league Sharing setup is good idea, however, this will cos them don't have time or lazy to learn the car behaviors as well tracks. IMHO, sharing setup is an alternative, ONLY if you already familiar with that circuit and car. If there is a place for them to learn and start their sim racing career, I believe they will take part. If not mistaken, previously someone has mentioned that a car magazine publisher give us space to promote MSR right, that also one way to promote MSR and the driving school. People can spent few thousand to mod their car, to join MSR or rF, they only spent RM140 (rFactor)+RM299 (MOMO wheel)+RM3000 (PC) = +/-RM3439. Beside, after mod the car, they only can race at Sepang (I mean legal race), while rF, they can race at any circuit around the world + any mod, F1, BMW, Honda, champ car, you name it, you get it. Just my thought. QUOTE(karom @ Sep 24 2007, 04:04 PM) I will try my best to get the best price for wheel. But not in 1-2 quantities per order lah. Maybe like 5 units per order something like that. Ya, that the problem. If West Malaysia, MUST get from u. The only concern is the shipping cost is quite higher especially to send wheel to East Malaysia. As for Gamepad, try using PS2 first because as far as I am concerned, pitt is the expert of using it. he can even clocked good time as well. Now he is using G25, he is one of the title contender for the season 4 though. In East Malaysia, my friend open pc shop, hope he can offers us RM299 |
