Some background:-
My current house is 2.5 storey, but structurally compatible with 3 storey.

I plan to extend up to the end which is an additional 11ft X 20ft of space.
No additional plumbing required, just extend and put a roof on top of it. Some hacking to make an accessway to go to the new room.


How much does it cost to extend the 3rd floor?

Sort of, I remember when I was doing renovation 10 years ago , contractor asked whether I want to extend 3rd floor and said the design of columns and all was based on 3 storey.
He was doing the same extension on another house in the same taman.
And there are a few houses in the same taman which has 3rd floor extended.

how do you know for sure? Can you refer to SnP? I remember seeing rumah tiga tingkat.

Since your have neighbours having done it, should be ok.

Not sure the price, best ask 2 to 3 contractors to quote and compare. Answers here are merely plug from sky.
