Mouth Washes That Inactivate Coronaviruses YouTube

Direct link to the Malaysian study: Povidone-Iodine Vs Essential Oil Vs Tap Water Gargling For COVID-19 Patients

Impressive results for iodine, but small number of subjects. Before gargling with iodine, we need to know how many drops in how much water - can't see that instruction in the paper.

Gargling only cleans the mouth and throat, obviously. The video also talks about nasal rinses. Lungs, no chance. The idea is to catch it before it gets to the lungs.

both nasal rinse and mouth wash cannot prevent the infection from starting, at least 99% of the time. it does help shorten the time of infection and might sooth here and there a bit.

you can check out betadine's research, they have one of the most extensive research on these for decades because they have been trying to get something that would prevent or cure flu, bacteria and what not respirstory diseases. If for decades they cant find it, its not easy to just found a solution so good to be true in months.

Thyme, part of the mint family, is a virus fighter.

So any mouthwash that has thymol, from thyme,
should also knock out the virus.

Listerine has thymol.

Same thing as just drinking high concertation of medical grade alcohol, it would not work because viruses are way more minute than bacteria and small amount of them would have already seeped in to your body via infection to the countless number of cells in your body.
