maybe, i can't say for sure.. the best way to know imo is to meet an adult adhd specialist.. i can suggest for u to meet dr. hazli at Klinik Dr. Yeoh and Hazli

I work in Singapore. I’m gonna go with the private psychiatrist here ($400 sgd consultation) and medication i heard is around $5 sgd per tablet of ritalin. Given how suffering you are, do you think it’s worth it despite the cost of consultation and meds?

Can't get in the Gov. ones?

Depends I would say, if its affecting that much in your life, money is always worth for medical treatments

yes i think it's worth it.. either way you should see a psychologist/psychiatrist if you think u have a condition and need help, whether it's adhd or others..

Is he showing super lazy symptoms?
*
Sorry, I'm not familiar with that symptom.

The closest diagnose of him, in my opinion, is PDDNOS.

He was once diagnosed with autism (mild), asperger, ADHD (this one I think was correct at one stage of his childhood years) and now probably is PDD-NOS but showing sone wild emotional fluctuations. These bursts, or episodes, are what worries me, he may need medications to help control them.

I heard if you're Malaysian and can get pills from govt hospital, it's much much cheaper. Maybe RM3 per pill.

Govt can get but i heard the process is very troublesome... need to get referral letter from polyclinic then need to pay a visit to another govt body to get checked up... the govt here very anti-stimulant drugs like... also the process is very long

Need mod to move this thread to serious or other more appropriate place. /k will attract too many trolling answers.

Would like to know also.

My son was diagnosed with ADHD once, though now I think he's out grown it and turn into something else. But his behaviour is so... Unique in a bad way. Sometimes I feel like there's something clouding his judgment, which more and more I fear need medications to control or alleviate.

Like what? Care to sahre? my son is autistic. 6 yo. Development is slightly lacking behind than normal kids

Sounds like the same way to meet one in malaysia. It's worth the triuble especially if you can't afford it.

As in changes your life in a way that you feel like you can achieve a lot of things because of being able to finally focus. I am not diagnosed, will book an appointment soon.

I feel so overwhelmed with simple tasks. It’s affecting my work too. I try my best not to show my symptoms and do just enough to stay safe. But deep down inside i feel so overwhelmed and feel like shit if I underachieve.

You're Malaysian so you probably can still get the meds from Malaysia govt hospital but you might need to come back every month.

The meds will not change your life. It helps but won't help you to become normal like neurotyoical. Ritalin have few 1-2 hours effect while you live 24 hours day. With meds you can become 25%-40% as productive as normal people is. Still better than zero. Of yeah that bazillion of ideas will stuck stuck in the head

ADHD people need professional training and meds. Without professional training, the limited focus will be wasted
