No. Office got 2 dishwashers. Not that clean.

You still need to rinse manually first, only then put in the dishwasher. Baru ok.

My house has a Miele dishwasher that has become an ornamental display ... wife doesn't like it, takes more time to clean & air, than for the maid to wash our dishes. End of.

Yup, I do have a dishwasher. About 5 years old now. Specifically renovated the kitchen to fit a dishwasher before moving in. Brand is Teka and never had any problems with it.

As to why. Question should also be why not? Do you do your laundry by hand or do you have a washing machine? Same reason - saves time by just have to load everything in and the dishes will come out clean and dry.

Either an old machine or improperly loaded.

It has become cheaper especially if you buy it on Shopee or Taobao.

Another way is to use the powder or liquid ones instead of the tablet and you can usually use half the recommended amount here because our water here is not hard water.

Yes though strangely even those from 3rd world that once lived in a 1st world country tend to avoid it.

Presumably because cheaper to have a maid here.

Yes I have one, Electrolux brand

Use it only if there's a lot of dishes ie like when there's guests, festival time etc

Most of the time still wash by hand coz only 3 (out of 4) of us at home atm

Depends on the mode. There are quite a few to choose from.
If use eco mode between 2.5 to 3 hours.
If use normal mode then is 90min
And if want quick wash there is 30min as well.

I do. Uses less water compared to washing by hand - about 10+ L per wash cycle compared to the kitchen tap which runs at 4-8L/min, and probably cleaner too.

It makes perfect sense for Singapore. I think gov should mandate the use of dishwasher to save water

Its a full size dishwasher, so can wash a full set of 16 place settings or can put in pots and pans also (most not be non-stick of course).
In Eco mode, it uses 0.91kwh.

Don’t have one coz apartment didn’t come with it and kitchen’s too small.
Would love one coz i hate doing dishes.

Living abroad, I really miss having a maid.
Sometimes i hate doing dishes so much i just leave them in the sink for a few days, then decide to throw them all away in the trash and go and buy new plates and dinnerware

Use a Bosch machine and the power ball finish 2 in 1 washes all the dishes and utensils ultra kleen.... So usually just keep a large basin to pile up the dishes from morning to dinrar...
And wash em all in one sitting to conserve water and energy...

Winrar...

Plates come out cleaner then using meleuca eco sense...

You do realize these days the new machines ( using the 2020 made in Germany Bosch machine) are pretty good even in speed mode ( 45 - 55 minutes)

If you have lunch at around 12pm to 1pm and dinner at 6pm or 7pm, there is already 5+ hours for the dishwasher to complete the most water and energy efficient wash and dry cycle before the next meal. Or are you having second lunch or dinner?

But since you asked, the 30 minute cycle is even lower power consumption at 0.6kwh - mostly because this is only a wash cycle without drying.
The quickest cycle with drying is the 90 minute cycle. Power consumption increases to 1.35kwh.
