Hi everyone,

I need to get recommendations for a good contractor that can help me identify the water leak source.
Apparently the leak has seep thru the parquet flooring and the floor has come out and become uneven.
I suspect it’s happening underneath and the wall as it’s next to the bathroom.

Appreciate any help/advice i can get.

Regards,
Zot

I've had this problem before. It is inside the wall.

Since it is on upper floor, I just just the PVC pipe to the bathrooms upstairs and run another pipe along the wall near ceiling. No more concealed.

The plumber asked for RM500. SO I just DIY and it did not cost me even RM100 laugh.gif

if this is next to a toilet... then highly probably your toilet
floor is leaking , probably at the edge wall/toilet floor.

to confirm this try not using the toilet for a few weeks.

try get some sealant for the edges..

i had a problem once where the water slow drip out of the support beam about 1 feet away from the nearest toilet floor edge .
first i thought it was a pipe leak in the wall.
I stop using the toilet and after 2 weeks the water drip stop.

The next room is the bathroom, you are right.
I do noticed the bathroom floor tiles has some missing grouting, does putting sealant can solve the water leaking into the bedroom floor? Any recommendations

I am trying to avoid having to retile the bathroom floor.
The bedroom parquet is definitely need replacement.

i have used this . its ok.
there are other brands too ...just read the specs and user comments before buy as some just come out fast.

let the toilet dry for about 24 hrs. mean dont use or wet the floor.
