hallo semua... I'm noob here...

I just bought new K770i last Saturday(7 March), truffle brown color.. AP set for RM540.00 in Kuantan Parade (with m2 1gb, ori charger, handsfree and USB data cable+packaging)

I try read almost all the post here, finding how to mod this phone aa.
But since my phone is CID53, is there any other way to mod it, for example, to use flash theme? Non-payable way, of course...

XS++ still didn't release the v3.2 yet, and for what i know, the v3.2 on internet is just a dev version, am I right?

so how am I going to do it, freely?

Cool, CID53 or CID 52 firmware? Recently i downgrade firmware (CID53 -> CID52), they charge me rm70. Well, it's better than not having CID52. HEhehehe... My K770 is now ready for heavy modding. ^^ XS++ v.3.1 ready.

CID53 is hard to mod and only can use JDFlasher which is hard to use, not user-friendly. CID52, can use XS++ v3.1 which is more user friendly, with GUI(Graphic User Interface).
Mods, too many. Can apply Flash theme, modded camera driver, modded sound driver, hide logo operator, light effect and many more.

i send it to shop, which they offer downgrade service. Man, really hard to find one. And really that lucky to find one.

well, older n new firmware can do mod, but that depends on modding software. Whether it support or not, depends on what firmware.

about the difference, yup, modded sound driver really makes a big difference. Loud n clearer. be careful not to burst your handphone speakers. Modded cam driver also good but since i never test it yet so i can't give any comment yet.

Since I more concentrate on my own work (which is programming) and kinda sick of seeing more codes, I just mod my handset one step at a time. I tried flash themes and light effect already for a mean time.

the shop owner says, have to leave for 1 day, but i get it in just 30 minutes. lol. but it is reasonable to leave it for 1 day. U can see the reason here

@cutiesbaby312: CID53 if i'm not mistaken, the camera function had added shortcut button for nightmode which is none for CID52. since I use both CID52 and CID53, the difference is quite unnoticeable except for the camera driver.
