if possible try transfering data using a memory card reader and not the usb cable. its much faster that way.

not really true also. mobile phones of today dont need to be charged that long IMHO
those are for older mobile phones. nevertheless, it doesnt harm your phone to actually charge it that long. |

try update to latest FW via SEUS. may solve the lagness.
