IN camera mode.. zoom function has been disabled.. coz whenever u zoom.. the pics gets blur.. I think only in video mode they allow u to zoom..

nway, k800 n k810 dont act like this..

just tried. only able to zoom in VGA mode. at other resolutions except video, the same notice came out. wonder why SE disables it since it's labeled as a Cyber-shot camera phone. wanted to get this so so much but upon knowing about this, feels kinda disappointed.

k800 and k810 i tot also got limitation for zooming in camera mode..? no..?

Added on February 26, 2008, 10:26 pmCoz its not optical-zoom.. unless its optical zoom then they will allow u to zoom in camera mode as when u're using optical zoom, pics dun get blur when u zoom out..

and with normal digital zoom in SE phones now.. all will get pixelated or blurred out whenever u zoom, the quality is not there anymore.. Thats why they disable the zooming function in camera mode..

i'm not really sure but i think K810i has the zooming function, if not mistaken.

yea. i know it's just a digital zoom but sometimes it helps too even though the photos took might be pixelated. SE should at least try to include it.

I used many K-series but never bother to zoom.. never used also..

k810 can zoom n k800 also can (js confirm with my fren)

i think the reason k770 cannot, becoz (beside what stratos mention) it is not like k800/k810 which both are flagship model at their time...

n like w700 n w810...at that time w810 is top of the line for that family, so it can, while w700 cannot (n even dun hv auto-focus)

frankly speak, temporary i dun hav other choice to choose...so jus simply walap tis, coz it is light, 3.2 AF, cheap and is bout White.....after 1 day use with full charge, my battery KONG by 7pm...battery really nt tahan le...

Set to GSM mode only if ur not using 3g.. will help to improve the battery life..

anyway, just like 'influenced' 2 friends to changed to K770i. one even downgraded from K810i.

did he/she knew this k770 cannot zoom like his/her old k810?

haha. it's a HER. she was kinda let down but she fell in love with the barney purple. so i guess she still can accept it. still able to zoom in VGA mode wert. not so bad.
