You mean toilet as in the toilet drain, floor trap sana ka? Your house, is how old? Ground floor ka? This is the big ass 4-5" floor drain ka the smaller 1-2" basin drain? Different developer different layout, no standard.

If its the bigger floor drain, newer house would come with some type of trap, i'm unsure what they call this.

Your puny auger or drain cleaner will not work in most situation. Trust me, i know toilets, haha!

Ahh, so now its about a toilet bowl (toilet common denominator in Malaysia). Sorry, my mistake, I thought its the floor drain (which is more common to encounter a block). A more technical term to what im referring would be a floor gully with trap because this is a PIA to settle.


For a toilet bowl case, more simple. Auger boleh, the drain cleaner pun boleh. But what I always use is what ppl call the drain blaster. I bought one from shoppee for ~RM20+ and it works in the 4-6 times such case happened with toilet bowl, basin, sink (for basin & sink kena tengok trap and overflow configuration). IMHO cleaner, more hygienice and more efficient (from what i have encountered).
