few years down the road ur poly tank will turn into this

imagine u shower using this water sourced. stainless steel tank just a bit expensive only lah
great to hear that. u ask contractor to do it sure potong kepala price.

yes as long u are willing to learn there is nothing that hard to do.

those contractors also normal ppl like us-they dont possess super power to do it
*
Yup. Willingness to learn. And your house piping system IS as what you really want. No sily mistake by contractor, no sub standard shody job, etc. 100% satisfied. No complaint. If complaint, then complaint it to yourself. Huhu sweat.gif

True... I DIY my house piping 6 years ago, 3 bathroom. Use hitachi water pump. Till now working flawlesly (touch wood)Β  . Can shower like a waterfall.Β  :thumbsup:Β

It took me nearly a month to finish up the work. Read, watch youtube, planning, buying right pipe, connectors, etc. Not that difficult and saves huge amount of money too.
*
Your kitchen tap draw from that buffer tank too?
How about incomming to the tank, u connect from front pipe?

Yup, rented d house, paid d deposit, got d keys, clean d house, den clean d water tank, tada suprise... d tank also didnt have a tank cover n dey didnt do d piping properly, with like 6-7 exit point.

Ask d landlord if he wanna pay for d tank cover (coz u need to remove d roof to insert d cover), but he didnt want to invest on it.

So after a few month, left d house after finding another one, not risking my family lives on another possible rat swimming pool escapade. And yes, d kitchen wasnt direct pipe but from the tank.

One from tank (dry kitchen), one (wet kitchen) from water meter.

Not buffer tank... I use only one tank as my original house tank is huge.. 900L net.

Water meter -> water tank -> water pump -> whole house, with proper bypas if no electricity (gravity pressure).

My neighbour use buffer tank as he's house original water tank was change few years ago when he renovate his house.

Dont know, ask d landlord, he said should be there, i look all over inside d roof, nehi, so no idea where it went

So either during construction went missing, or d rat ate it 😁

I felt sorry for d former tenant, drinking/cooking with rat body inside d tank

In our neighbourhood (old areas, house more than 35 years old), 100% already redo their piping. Mine was done 6 years ago. Luckily my water tank still in perfect condition. Old style yellow fiberglass one. Similar like ocean boat construction. Should last a very long time.

I DIY instead of some shody contractor with cut throat price.

I thought the plumbing code does not allow our kitchen main taps to be from the tank and has been the case since the British colonial administration?
