Long story short, went to get one of my rear tyre changed (because air leaking out, nope not tube’s prob, the guy told me tyre bengkak already) 2 weeks ago, only realized today that the guy changed a smaller size for me, was using 175/65, he changed 165/55 for me, just realized today.. yes damn stupid of me for not checking the tyre on the spot that day..
Want to ask all sifus here, is there any problem driving with one smaller rear tyre? TT

TT That will affect your handling, your car becomes imbalanced as that 1 odd tire is 23mm or 8.3% smaller rolling diameter and 10mm narrower. No choice, you must change it again to the same size. You should complain back to the tire shop and scolded them for giving the wrong size! This post has been edited by 6UE5T: Oct 18 2020, 02:40 PM

Tumpang thread, if I use 175/65/14 for rear and the front is185/60/14. 1)Will it be fine long term 3 years? 2)if I decide to change all into same size what are the benefits changing to bigger width but smaller profile from 175/65 to 185/60 Tyre? I.e less rolling resistance 3) Opposite question above (2)What is the bad thing changing from 175/65 to 185/60?
Thanks for the input 😊

Thanks for the input 😊 1) Yes, still fine 2) Better traction and handling but more rolling resistance. 3) Slightly less comfort but should not be really noticeable, more rolling resistance so slightly more FC but again should not be noticeable. Ground clearance drops by just 3mm, also not significant.
