LoL what life size Finlay statue are you talking about?

https://us.blizzard.com/sc2collectible/starcraft2/faq.htmlchances for me to get it is very VERY slim. sc is afterall the "legendary" game that played a part in reviving korea's economy depression
18" tall statue highly detailed in your room... srsly... <3

Talk about getting an explosive reaction. LOL! I was just wondering who was interested as I wouldn't mind making the arrangement if no one FFK the trip at the last minute.
Me, I'm not sure yet. But it is a long way away and probably will be able to save up, provided that nothing major happens along the way that is money draining.
Sharing rooms will cut it down a lot as well as sharing transportation and group airfare. Besides, it was a thought.

And time is still so far away that maybe enough time to save up. The estimated costs up in the calculations are for one of the hotels that is within walking distance rather than having one that is really far away. Not easy to find taxis at these kind of big conferences so other choice is actually hiring a car and driving there.
The biggest chunk would be the airfare. If held during the peak season, the prices will be in the different of RM1K- RM2K, depending on the fuel prices. My aunt works as a travel agent so can usually get cheaper fares and easy to make changes, less hassle, blah blah blah.
California is a nice place. Friendly people. And yeah, you get to be in the big USA. Sightseeing can be cheaper if a car is rented but still a lot of walking and confusion too. Their signboards on the road are hard to see although roads and parking spaces are bigger than here. Not to mention driving on the other side of the road too.
And yeah, it's BlizzCon. Conferences are tiring and Odinn is right by saying that it would be similar to PC Fair where it's crowded and full of people. Still, would be interesting to see and experience. And to meet up with other players there.
my uncle/aunt lives around the area too... san jose

and my uncle's is my source of US/blizzard goodies

always kacau him when a new collector's edition is out lol...
also, pc fair back in PWTC is worth it, klcc, no thanks.
blizzcon, you kiddin? sc/war3/wow arena tournaments and all the blizzard panels... (if you got the WoW TBC CE that contains the dvd which highlights last blizzcon events, you'll know that its VERY well worth it... jeff kaplan (tigole) is also a very very humorous and fun person to listen too. and if ur into lore, theres always christ metzen to entertain you

)

Going there just for blizzcon? no way. but if you are telling me i am on a trip in the US for 3 weeks or something so happen blizzcon is around the town...i will drop by.
I would pick E3 over blizzcon

i would too but not anymore.
E3 got downsized to dirt and now requires press passes to enter. its basically worthless now. TGS (tokyo game show) or the gaming convention that was held in germany (forgot the name) by FAR pwns E3.
