i restored my Madass 125 previously - https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4990223&hl=

Right now I'm restoring a '92 Kawasaki Kips KR150B

17/10 - Sent to workshop for initial service / repairs

20/10 - Visit workshop take the plastic + tangki back

23/10 - Rust removal on the tangki

24/10 - Motor running, just left respray + fix tangki rust hole

27/10 - New exhaust arrived

4/11 - Clean stock exhaust

4/11 - Sent cover + tank respray red

17/11 - Respray cover set + assembly cantikkkk

Final completed look

Day 2 of rust removal, soak in citric acid

managed to remove quite alot of rust without any effort

this is day 2, after soaking overnight and a bit of scrubbing

this one tough, i don't think i can remove 100%. What i did is just make sure those rust particles come off first. If not later i pour petrol then the rust particles goes into my carb habis

workshop finished replacing / service



left respray the cover set & solve my tangki rust hole issue, circled area gg already. thinking how to fill up the hole - weld is hard unless I remove the metal piece on top, cos the the hole is too inside

exhaust come already, bought RR punya exhaust cannot plug n play

1. Remove double stand
2. Cut off the double stand metal

sold off my kozi exhaust cos foreman say not ngam, actually i asked around and people say can modify la but lazy

so I clean up my old stock exhaust, before after photos below

items to be sprayed, took me 1 week to clean the interior of the 2nd tangki with citric acid, too many gunk/rust inside
