Hi , I've just got the attached architecture plan from developer's appointed firm, may I know if the wall (marked as X) that separating the kitchen and dining can be demolished? The wall was built below a beam.

Doesn't seems like have a column there, judging from the structural drawings.

Shouldn't be a problem removing the wall, but just need to check the column location, if its not in the middle it should be fine, most probably your neighbour meant the one on the right side in the drawing marked as black in colour.

Only the developer/architect for the project can confirm if its a structural wall or not. If its not, then it is removable but they should be able to provide a clear guideline.

Hi, it is just a partition wall, you may remove it. Columns are indicated in pitch black colour. Your RC columns are designed to be in rectangular form rather than the conventional rectangular form as to produce a flush the column to the brickwall. This will enhances both the aesthetic look & also the living space. |
