Couldn't find a thread appropriate to post this question. Looking to buy a workout bench for my place, it's only a temporary rent place so it needs to be moving friendly. Is this brand any good? Not familiar with buying gym equipments so I don't know if this brand is any good

It claims a max load of 300kg. If youre usinf strictly for for the band workouts (like pic demo) and lighter weight db, you should be fine?

Personally id splurge abit more and go decathlon and get one of their adjustable ones.

yea i use dumbbells only. heaviest it can get is 15kg dumbbell each arm for chest press and I'm around 80kg. Are you talking about this one?

If you can vouch for it's quality and long lasting then I don't mind saving money for it. I just don't know about gym equipment brands to know which is worth spending money for.

why are you looking at shopee sweat.gif they literally jacked up the price more than 50%.

If you get straight from Decathlon it is RM459.

Rather than me vouching for it, why not you go and test it out at Decathlon? I wanted to get one myself initially but since i already spent 500 bucks for a heavy duty flat (non adjustable) bench, i shelved the idea. But i would for sure get this myself if im looking for one.

Not sure if Decathlon's bench can be folded like the one you shared, but for just basic fitness use with lightweight DB, the folding one you shared should be good enough. Review seems decent too.

Not what you want - but using something like this for a bodyweight fitness regime might be better than some resistance bands or dumbbells and a better long term investment. Also just stacks up against a wall so shouldnt take up a lot of space.

Look flimsy. Better go with sturdy build bench / commercial grade design bench, eg: sample link below.

Bench 1

Bench 2

i think with having only 15kg dumbells...instead of buying a bench...invest the money into buying more weights.
say rm200 for 4x5kg plates...2 for each dumbell so u get 25kg dumbells...

I am planning to have this one too. Now looking it on shopee, never try buy at decathlon. Does they made refund if our "barang" damage or not reach at pointed address?
