I was looking to buy one number plate for my house and while I was searching found a cool house number plate somewhere on a website. They where actually selling it for like 30-40 $, but decided to make it myself. Here you can check it out, how it came up: DIY House Number Plate - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUjJW7jaxhEIf you guys need more details about how I made feel free to write me a message.

A straight forward diy ... decide on the materials and one can start
For flat base .... wood, tiles, marbles, tree trunks slab, metal etc
For numbers ... pebbles, twigs, mosaics, mini tree trunks, wire mesh etc
Just have imagination run wild and one create a nice piece.

Hi guys, have a question regarding my project. I have used a piece of soft timber and use as a protection against humidity (rain, snow) wood oil. Should this be enough or should I coat (paint) it with something else?
