Just an update, i tried to buy a 2nd game (Far Cry 4 for 520 Arg Peso, about RM23.50) after that but payment was blocked. I've tried the following:

removed and then added back my bigpay = didn't work
changed to a different Argentina address = didn't work
restarted by xbox console = didn't work
Changed back to US region, restarted console, then changed again to Argentina region followed by restarting console = also didn't work
Lol, i guess my next option is to wait 72 hours before buying again. Will keep you guys updated.

with Turkish Lira exchange rate freefalling recently, seem it's cheaper to buy from there compared to Argentina

Ar: 999.75 = RM45
Tr: 65.00 = RM33

I found a trick if you keep having trouble purchasing and getting don't know what happened error no matter how many times you try, gift the game to your email. I tried it and the payment goes through right away.

If you don't get the gift email in your inbox like me for some reason, go to the xbox site and get the game code from.the order history.

tried again last night with both pc & console, both no joy

last successful purchase was about 2 months back

tried using one of my dormant account last month also no go

maybe they've traced my CC details, I'll wait for one my new CC to arrive then will try again

Set my Xbox region to Argentina, used my Maybank debit card to purchase Borderlands 3 + Destiny silver on the console itself.

Purchase went through without a hitch.

I think the trick here is to always re-enter your payment info when you want to checkout, then delete the info after for your future purchases.

I thought of getting BigPay but then there are so many scam calls being made the moment someone register for it or pay using Bigpay. I don't trust BigPay with my data

have you tried using secondary account to gift to main account?

my BP card is working on both region in my secondary account

erm, after i switched console location to Turkey, there's no payment details in there
so when I check out I need to add new CC details again, I used back the same BP CC, then just a random address, using Istanbul postcode from google
my secondary account only got the BP card details, never used any other card also, whereas my main with many CC always failed.

yes, same card always there, just diff address for diff region
first line address I put in my local billing address, the rest will be the region's city and postcode

So far I've removed my cards and tried every other day to purchase. Still not getting through with 3 different cards. Any other methods? My last purchase was October though.
