since my friends all started class, i took a 3 day tour to the grampians. for 138 aus dollars, it's a 1 day guided tour and 2 nights accommodation at a youth hostel. it's pretty reasonable but car renting with friends is still cheaper and gives you more flexibility

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() grampians is basically covered with mountain ranges, about 5 of them and there are quite a few nice lookout points. the big bush fire last year wiped out alot of the trees, giving a clear view of everything. the smell of burnt wood remains though and many hiking trails are still closed. ![]() ![]() early morning shots ![]() reflection ![]() halls gap from atop. halls gap is one of the towns at the national park. has all the basic stuff from restaurants to convenience stores. no car rental though, and only 1 taxi! ![]() |
