Only good deal if we all share the shipping laugh.gif

Coz if get 1 unit, shipping is 50 ringgit. 2 unit instantly drop to 60 for both laugh.gif

What language do you all select for your Siri for Apple Homepod Mini?

On my iPhone and iPad, I can choose English (Singapore) which bests can detect our speech well but on the Homepod Mini that selection isn't available (since it isn't available in Malaysia) I guess.

Anyone tried using the Homepod Mini connected to a GaN charger? Thinking of getting a pair for stereo, but would prefer to only use 1 plug to connect both cables - free 1 more slot for other stuff.

Should work. So long the wattage on each port push out enough wattage. Have seen someone use it with power bank.

Been using the HomePod Mini in Stereo for over a week now, a little hit and miss.

AirPlay is quite wonky, especially if you are using a non-native Apple app, you get audio delay (need to manually toggle), frequent audio cut-off (1-2 sec) and at times output will only be on one speaker.

Apple should pay more attention to the software part of the HomePods, the sound quality is acceptable but the software is a real pain at times.

Depending on your setup - if you are specifically referring to using HomePods for 'Lossless', you won't be able to hear the difference. Only through a proper wired connection (either directly to the source or through a DAC), you are able to tell the difference between standard AAC and ALAC - a placebo effect that you can hear an 'improved' experience over AirPlay / Wifi / Bluetooth but they aren't really 'lossless'.

Already 2022 and still no sign of the Homepod Mini coming to MY yet. Might just go for the Shopee ones instead of waiting an eternity. Anyone bought one from shopee? Warranty provided by seller or direct register with Apple?

Get it from Mint on Shopee, bought 3x from them and all unopened / unregistered from HK (3 pin plug).

The warranty is directly tied to your Apple ID hence it's international warranty.

Okay, noted with thanks bro!

Wow, u purchased 3 of them at once? Either can use 3 tgt as surround sound, or use them as intercom at separate places. Cool!

Has anyone purchased from ssuperdeal.com.my before? Its a store on shopee and the HomePod mini price is cheaper then MINT.

I also asked MINT and they can help with the HK warranty in case any issues crop up but they charge RM 50 for shipping. Just in case anyone finds this useful.

Alternatively u can buy from overseas Apple Store and ship back to bolehland. It will be slightly more ex but safer than buying from third party.

No idea. Mine is us set. I use converter for the plug.

I had used it since its launch until now. It is still good and strong. I think u want to get it fixed it is quite difficult.

Maybe u should contact apple to see if they even provide repair service at those countries that sell this and the cost of repair.

Mine is from US directly. This is why I prefer to buy from apple directly than buying from third parties which they are not reliable.

I have one unit of original homepod (big one) bought from apple hk and shipped back also.
