But back then there were much more cases than this time right?  hmm.gif
*
Back then, there were many more "unkowns", don't know how many people attended the Sri Petaling mosque event (2k initially reported, then 6k, then 12k, and finally about 16k. And don't know who they were and where they went... many go give talks in tabligh schools.

Now, most of the clusters have links to index cases with travel history to Sabah. It is a matter of speed in contact tracing them. Maybe, the numbers were underestimated, and/or the speed in contact tracing was overestimated.

Clusters where index cases have travel history to Sabah:

Kluster Setapak, KL.
Kluster Jln Apas, Selangor.
Kluster Bakawali, Johor.
Kluster Selasih, Putrajaya.
Kluster Sri Setia, Selangor.
Kluster Sri Anggerik, Selangor.
Kluster Bah Lunas, Kedah.
Kluster Bah Ketil, Kedah.
Kluster Bah Sintoh, Kedah
Kluster Bah Tanjung, Terengganu.
Kluster Bah Puchong, Selangor.
Kluster Bah Arnab, Sarawak
Kluster Bah Bangat, Labuan.
Kluster Bah Lada, Perak
Kluster Bah Sahabat, Terengganu
Kluster Bah Manggis, Selangor
Kluster Bah Bundle, Labuan.
Kluster Bah Perdana, KL
Kluster Bah Tropicana, Selangor
Kluster Bah Kasturi, Putrajaya.
Kluster Bah Kenangan, Selangor.
Kluster Bah Pengkalan, Perak.
Kluster Bah Pasir, Negeri Sembilan
Kluster Bah Bemban, Terengganu.

Covid-19: Test the 30 Nepalis living with us and test us too, say Prima Bayu residents

The 30 men are all employees of a factory in Port Klang and were housemates and colleagues of 21 other Nepalis who have since tested positive for Covid-19.

Their employer had rented seven units in the apartments’ two blocks to house their 50-odd Nepali workers.

My boss is saying that all roads towards PJ/damansara has been closed.

The situation is very fluid and changes can happen without notice.

'WFH an order, not a suggestion’

PUTRAJAYA: The government’s work from home directive, which will affect a million workers in the public and private sectors, is aimed at containing Covid-19 infections in areas placed under the conditional movement control order (mco), says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Health DG: Nearly 70% of Covid-19 cases in Selangor are local transmissions

PETALING JAYA: Nearly 70% of the 26 active Covid-19 clusters in Selangor are not linked to those who returned from Sabah recently, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2020...l-transmissions

LOL... 30% is still a large number and it is self created.

If an icu ward is now operating at 70% capacity (26 out of 37 clusters), without the 8 clusters, it is 48%.

Lastly, who and how the other 18 clusters started is not known. Many possiblities... up to you guys to guess.

In the district of Klang, the Kapar and Klang sub-districts have been listed as red zones after recording 41 and 134 cases respectively over the last 14 days.

Damansara, Petaling and Sungai Buloh under the Petaling district each have recorded 75, 94, and 233 Covid-19 cases respectively over the same period, with Kajang under Hulu Langat recording 92 cases and Tanjung 12 (1) with 55 positive cases.

Anything to worry about? Maybe not, since there are several "super" clusters making up the bulk of the numbers...

Kluster Utama 194 cases, Auto 62, Sg Way 56, Keladi 30, Hentian 49.

9 clusters (out of 26) were from workplaces. Maybe MKN need to further investigate the infected workplaces and question how so many personnel was infected at the same place and whether the SOP needs to be revised or not, or whether the companies should be charged or not for not following guidelines.

Is 1 car 2 person applicable for moment? Or not?
*
Cmco was extended 2 weeks from 27-Oct.

Cmco rules applicable, 2 persons from same household going out (travelling in a car), no social gatherings, schools and places of worship closed, restricted travel crossing districts and states boundaries.

What's the number of new cases going to be today?

It was 55 yesterday. And its 7-days moving average is 116.

The 7-days moving averages were:
26-Sept, 1
03-Oct, 17
10-Oct, 32
17-Oct, 85
24-Oct, 98
31-Oct, 116

If 31-Oct is the turning point, and R-nought is less than 1.0, the number of new cases, each day this week, should be less than 116... or at high double digits, before falling to less than 10 cases each day in the 3rd week of November.

Can during CMCO can ask friend come my house to fix air con ?

My neighbor who live 3 houses away knows know to fix aircon. Can I invite him to my house to fix my aircon ? Will most probably take like 5 hours.

Scare got a rule I missed only family members can be in the house...
*
Are you scared someone will report on you? People would only kepoh and snitch on big gatherings.

Anyway, I have seen some sub-con fixing a new awning. This is of course external of the house.

Whether you are confident to invite your friend into your "fortress", it is up to your better judgement.

Ringkasan kes harian COVID-19 negeri Selangor yang dikemaskini sehingga 1 November 2020 jam 12.00 tengahari.
Pertambahan 81 kes discaj direkodkan hari ini.

Pertambahan 225 kes baharu hari ini ( 225 tempatan, 0 luar negara). Butiran kes baharu mengikut daerah dan mukim seperti berikut:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

comments:
- highest number of new cases, 225 since mid Sept.

- 2 big clusters in klang and kajang...
Saringan Pekerja (Kluster Bah Manggis) - 30 kes
saringan TEMCO (Kluster Hentian) - 88 kes

- saringan bergejala and komuniti is still quite high, at 8 and 6 cases.
Both these types of screening are not suspected contact tracing, and could potential form new clusters if the index person stays in a large households or working. New clusters have been reported almost daily.

- there is a new cluster, Kluster Usaha... not in above report.

KLUSTER USAHA

You spoke too soon. 225 cases in Selangor today.
*
Let me clarify further on the post.

The post was to use a 7-days moving average on the earlier post showing the number of new cases since 15-Sept. The daily numbers are erratic... thus a moving average can show a trend more clearer.

As can be seen, the trend is clearly increasing each week... from 1 to 116 cases (average number of new cases per day in that week.)

The 7-days moving averages were:
26-Sept, 1
03-Oct, 17
10-Oct, 32
17-Oct, 85
24-Oct, 98
31-Oct, 116

If last week was the turning point, then the average daily cases this week should be less than 116 or total new cases of 812 this week.

Why last week could be the peak? If you look carefully at the weekly averages, the incrementals are slowing down from week to week. (The curve is flattening.)

225 new cases today. Yesterday was 55. The daily numbers are too erratic to tell whether last week is the peak or it is still increasing. Let's wait and see what the numbers will be for the rest of the week.

(Why want to track the changes? It is one way to predict when the cmco would be lifted or extend further.)

The main location of the cluster seemed to be at Banting, the Sg Emas Flats which has been EMCO from 28/10 to 10/11.

Total cases from this cluster, as at 2/11, is 113.

Edit: The cluster is named after Sungai Manggis, Banting. The emco location and the schools are all in the same vacinity.
