Any ANOVA user here? I've been using the Bluetooth version of ANOVA for few years already and now thinking of upgrading to precision oven.

The price however is not cheap and being that high, there'll most likely be import duty and God knows whatever tax that'll be imposed when shipped in.

Another alternative is Panasonic cubie but that doesn't come with sous vide mode, let alone extra temperature probe.

I've had the Anova sous vide for several years already. As much as I'd like this oven I'll probably wait it out for a bit to iron out the issues. I'm also a lot more concerned about shipping an oven vs a sous vide immersion cooker, import duty etc is obviously an issue but potential damage too.

The Anova website has a price for Singapore so maybe picking one up physically there when travel is allowed again might make more sense.

Yeah, the 'version/release' may be a good reason to wait. 1 thing though is that they were suppose to release this back in 2018. It was put on hold coz Electrolux bought Anova over in 2017/2018 and caused this delay.

I did consider having it shipped to SG too and later found that that they're all shipped from HK directly.

I bought the Anova Precision Cooker several months ago. Even though I got it from Anova's online shop, the item was shipped from Shenzhen. I had to pay quite a steep duty imposed by our Kastam department. Great product, I've been using it on a weekly basis.

I'm pretty sure that the oven will attract a hefty duty too. At its current price, it will be extremely expensive to bring into Malaysia. This oven should be great for people who are into baking but if only for meat, I'll stick to my precision cooker.

Yeah its a really great addition to the kitchen. That's why I'm interested to add this but the price won't be cheap with that duty bangwall.gif . Its a shame the border is closed now sigh. If not hand carry it from SG will be an option
