You mean previously there is discount but it's no longer given now?

I went to Midvalley a few days ago and it's selling at RM2999 also. I tried the hybrid on the spot. The following is my brief review:

The laptop-tablet hybrid is quite affordable for its specification. This model has comes with a 4-cell and a 6-cell battery. There is only AMD processor in the options. For casual users who uses the computer just for office tasks, surfing etc., processors shouldn't be an issue. The laptop is fairly light but solid enough for everyday use. One of the drawback is its screen. Comparing with other ordinary laptops, this screen is dark and dull. The vista wallpaper which is supposed to be very bright, looks dark in the screen eventhough the brightness is set to maximum. However, the screen is pretty scratch-resistant. I tried to scribble around the screen with appreciable pressure and there is no sign of damage/scratch. Unfortunately, the writing recognition is poor. Maybe I'm not good at using it, writing on the screen is a pain in the a**. You have to write in the small little boxes and in many times, the computer recognised the character wrongly. Because of this, it is almost impossible to write lecture notes(or other notes) into the laptop efficiently. If you are not planning to use the touchscreen function to replace the keyboard, this model is fine. But if you need to write on it, you should be looking for another tablet.

IMO one of the main reasons of getting a tablet is the ability to write on it in tablet form.

If the recognition is bad, then I'll have to look for other models instead.

Nevertheless, I'll drop by some shops and check out the unit myself.
