i saw the tx2000 but with the same spec as tx1000 it cost rm1000 more than the tx1000

i wonder if i shud go for turion or athlon. ppl tells me that athlon is faster but hot and consume more batt.

will wait til pc fair to see what HP gonna offer for their new tx2000.. but definately gonna buy tx2000... biggrin.gif hopefully it's a god choice

Just saw the TX2000 series. After comparing it with the TX1000 series, the 2000 is so much better! Lowest spec (1.9 Ghz Dual Core) is retailed at RM3,999 but special price discounted to only RM3,099 which is not much different compared to the 1000 series lowest spec.

hot yea but with a decent cooler. it's ok. but to use it in tablet form, best is to be in the air cond room. therefore sure no probs. biggrin.gif i'm ok with that. so far no problem.

I found the HP Pavilion tx1221au in the market with the price of RM 2999.

here is the spec
AMD Athlon 64 Mobile technology TK-53 and 512KB L2 cache (1.7GHz)
1024 DDR2 SDRAM
160 GB Hard Drive
12.1 WXGA high-Definition Brightview Widescreen Display
Integrated touch screen
Nvidia GeForce 6150
FIngerprint
Vista premium

I planned to buy this and upgrade to 2 GIG Ram.

I found that the screen is blur and the color is fade if compare to other pavilion series(i knew it's touchscreen)

Is this model worth to buy? Review pls. Anyone using this?

buy the new tx2000 series..its better built n cheap too..got promotion at 3099 only..best choice..otherwise wait for 2710p series with intel cpu..it will cost a bit more but not yet arv in malaysia..
