Why automatic gate always spoilt is it moto , circuit board ? Some times the remote cant use after pressing the button 1 or 2 gate never open .

i also have auto gate problems

1) sometimes my auto gate cant open cuz inside of the remote lari position liao bcuz i always drop the remote on the floor. i have to open it up to reset the position. i will refer to one of my good remotes to reset.

2) then sometimes it is no battery, so have to replace battery, then ok liao.

3) then sometimes the wiring of the autogate loose liao, so always stuck halfway when opening or closing. have to press down on the wire so it can connect, or ask repair guy to come rewire then ok liao.

Open manually la.

Mine already kaput for several years now. Too lazy to fix it. Opening manually quite refreshing though.

bought a cheap ones few years ago. one of the arm is always slower. few months later that one failed to close 100%. leaving a small gap. had it serviced twice and still not running smooth. finally the board fried due to tnb power surged. switched to DCMOTO as per neighbor recommendation. so far so good. touch wood. recommended. costs around 1500. cheaper at shopee but without installation.

your autogate, folded or swing type? swing type is the least problematic a and more autogate friendly. Folded type, the gate easily can stuck or out of track and create more stress for the autogate..

mine is a swing-type auto gate. It less reliable vs gate sliding-type based on my installer info. It cost me almost RM500 motor per swing gate.

lol, i just buy actuator from my supplier, build a controller box with those dc autogate board i found on shopee and make autogate myself. never spoil. those french brand, usa brand always rosak.

Many factors. Firstly, get a reliable product. cheap doesnt mean good.
The bigger problem is always the installer. Everyone will claim they are how good and done so many times. Once sale and job done, very hard to get them again if got problem.
I got my done from active LYN autogate thread, not as good as it sounded in the forum.

My Legate autogate giving issue where once side fully opened before another side will open. Same with closing. Any idea what was wrong?

my chapalang RM2k autogate installed been working flawlessly since 2015.
remote battery 12v replace once every 2 years or whenever they stopped functioning.

For maintenance, I just WD40 the wheel cogs weekly, maybe once per month if i am that lazy.

Using the stock gate provided by house developer, the horizontal open/close 1 piece gate type.

Mine, I take over my late fathers house, he always complain spoilt. Always call the tech, big money always change motor.

Later I check the gate soon spoilt again. But I go buy grease spray and do all the joints. So far touch wood 1 year plus already still ok.

The technician they purposely let the gate spoilt so can get more business.

you should use wd40 to clean it, then grease it.

normal wd40 is just penetrating oil, it will dry out after a while
unless you are using the wd40 dry lube which is a different product

Maybe 3 months 1 time need to spray to keep the lubrication at its best.

Some autogate misalign badly already throughout the years, this does help but only until it is repaired, most importantly, so the motor doesn't burn out or gear stripped.

I took a spoon of high temp multi purpose grease from my opis workshop put in a container and use it to grease the car hinges and what not at home.

for padlocks, I find bicycle chain oil is good as it is made from waxy oil, it coat it and it doesn't rust and non oily/greasy and dont need any application for a good 1-2 year
