soon to be 12mini owner here..
shopping around Shopee/2nd hand websites - and found many rm2,7k - rm2.9k for unsealed, 1 year apple warranty, brand new units. Too good to be true or can proceed?
any real difference between buy from Switch/Machines?

QUOTE(lazyman@home @ Mar 29 2021, 08:34 AM) Where you found the 12 mini for 2.7-2.9k? Mind to share? QUOTE(msacras @ Mar 29 2021, 08:53 AM) Still sounds a little too risky for too little savings. During 27.3, you can get 64GB red mini for RM302X if you have all the discounts factor in. iPhone rarely have discounts and margin to vendors are smaller than other typical brands, it’s unlikely to find iPhone been selling significantly lower than RRP. Thus your best bet is to get it subsidised by online platforms during big sales. its sold out.. but thankfully did not proceed.. sounds kinda fishy.. they mention is sealed, brand new Demo unit that they smuggle out to sell.. RM2750 for 64gb mini.. but its Demo firmware (units u see in retail outlets).. need to pay RM80 for them to flash back to original.. funny thing is IMEI have 1 year official apple warranty tho

QUOTE(msacras @ Mar 31 2021, 08:41 AM) NOT recommended to go 64GB (128GB only less than RM200 more) but this is the theoretical lowest for 64GB. good looking out brother

QUOTE(msacras @ Mar 31 2021, 11:17 AM) HSBC and Standard Chatered bank cards only, thus that mean if you want discount then won’t have instalment. Actually the most broken deal is SenQ’s Blue Max Pro. Only RM4.6k with the RM350 discount, LOL. It’s a steal boss kasi pinjam hsbc i belanja u teh tarik

QUOTE(msacras @ Mar 31 2021, 11:53 AM) SenQ and Machine have RM50 store vouchers (both I checked minutes ago still left 20% quota, so many people camp at Shopee at midnight, LOL). But 3049 model if you use RM50 voucher it will go below RM3k, thus can’t use those RM200 bank vouchers. That’s why I demonstrated using RM3079 models. IMO even if you don’t get any bank voucher discount, you can opt for instalment instead. 18months 0%, what’s not to like, LOL. 128GB is the most worthwhile models tonight. Balance between price and practicality. 128GB mini without bank discount is RM3199, still dirt cheap vs normal days. do you think rm94 - RM50 for the magsafe charger is a good deal? Or ousside can get cheaper 3rd party brands
