Using my iPhone 6s until now. iPhone 12 Mini is the perfect phone to me. Lighter and smaller than 6s but screen size is bigger and all the specs are top flagship spec.

I'm waiting to see how the Mini will fare in battery tests. Hopefully can match or be better than the iPhone X.

I think it would be better than the iPhone 6s, because compared to 6s's A9, A14 consume lesser power and more energy efficient. OLED also helps.

I only use my phone for social media, Apple musics, web surfing, photo shooting and light youtubing.

I'm currently using a 6S too but battery health already down to 89% so it's having problems lasting me through a day even with just moderate usage laugh.gif I'm waiting to see the score on GSMArena's battery test table - that will give me a rough idea on what to expect from the phone.

I already changed battery my S6 last year, using third party reliable brand Yoobao , 2200mAH (Ori is 1800 mAH). Still very fast but consume a lot battery. I think it's because of A9 processor.

But I will come back with feedback after using iP12 Mini for a week.

apple accessories esp cases etc are usually on whole level of overpriced  laugh.gif

handy, but not necessary at all. i think other 3rd party can do the same at a more affordable price

Partly disagree. The material quality and design are mostly perfect, I sounds stupid but really (I'm the victim sometime standing in the middle of path choosing design or durability in buying Apple products). Their simplicity and elegant design of accessories are just perfect, but the down part is some of them can't last long. None of other manufacturers can come out with the material and design perfection like Apple. They're probably last longer yea but it just kinda lack of something.

So, at the end it's still up to you. Are you a rich fag that don't care about lasting long and to have perfect design of the item?, or you just can't afford to change the accessories from time to time. It's just like you own a AMG GTR but you have to maintain it like a princess, or you could just buy a Toyota and last long for decades.

I think it's really down to personal reference and needs. But I think if you're not a rich fag and want to spend money wisely, I think buying the iPhone with premium telco package is a bad choice. For example, assuming you're using RM40 plan now, because of the iPhone package, you need to pay RM60 monthly just for the data plan(not including the phone price even tho it's cheaper compared to retail price). At the end you're still paying more overall.

If you don't have the ~Rm3500 cash, you can buy it via 0% interest instalment for 24 months, and use your other cash to buy stock or self improvement. When you get dividend, even tho it's very little, at long term (24 months), you still get your phone cheaper overall, and you can have some cash every month to do other investments: buy books, self investment, online courses, saving fund, insurance, mutual fund, stock etc.

I’m using iPhone 6 for 7 years. No lies. Changed it’s battery once last year. Use ALL features and apps, even shoot and edit my short selfie video clips for my gf (because cannot cross district and visit her during this cmco period), all except playing games. I’m waiting for my iPhone 12 Mini to arrive on this coming Monday.

iPhone 12 Mini. Been using for 3 days.

Things I have strong impression that drag me loving the phone more and more:
1. In a normal day usage - Use a social apps and light shopping. - around 12% left. gf chat around 2 hours.
Another day - Use all social apps. gf chat for 6 hours - One fully charge at evening.

3-days feeling: Better than my ip6s with new battery changed last year.

2. Using the phone mostly one-handed, Reachability and Back double-tap to screenshot heavily in daily life, super convenient to use. This is the king of phone.

3. Because the phone is light, putting it inside my pocket of light short pants, doesn't drag my pant down to floor.

4. Front camera selfie without filter is superb, gf thought I use filter. I think it's because of Deep fusion is working on it now.

5. The phone is simply a beauty. will look at it from time to time.
