Hi sorry out of topic. How long you had used your oneplus? How was it compare with iphone 12?
Thinking of getting 12 mini or oneplus nord 2
I like oneplus nord 2 price but i dont like oneplush nord 2 screen.. Too large, I like pocket size phone but if you have good review on oneplus i might go for it
I've had Oneplus since their One came out.
To be fair, my One is still working. OP6 was also doing fine during its 3.5 years lifespan. Pity the hardware defect tho.
Updates were fine but not as good as iOS. Maybe maximum update timeframe will be around 2.5 years.
I am a first time iPhone owner. I had my fair share of iOS ownership in the past other than an iPhone.
Overall, they are simplistic but beautiful and polished. but I can see iOS is getting better at what they do. You could say iOS serves you rather than you serving it.
The newer iOS 14/15 updates really made iOS feeling more submissive to android users. Updatable icons, clean home-screen, spotlight column (Android prowess)
So back to Nord 2, it is an more than enough phone for the price.
Disadvantages:
Is the camera better? Subjective.
Is the weight heavier? Yes and clunkier to hold (My OP6 is heavier and longer than IP12 so I am loving the size)
Apps might look like garbage compared to iOS.
Occasional storage bloating from android even with so much ram. This is where iOS shines.
Advantages:
90hz display will be a joy to look & feel.
One of the cleanest android OS with added tweaks
Some apps are free on android but totally not found on iOS. Flexibility.
Fast charging is a life-changer. I could go down to 2% and be back up to 10% in 10 minutes. I miss this feature (Thought, battery longevity WILL be affected).
Fingerprint unlocking + face ID (front camera unlocking just by looking at your eyes). Let's face it, Apple's infrared cam faceid needs some work with a mask on.
Disclaimer:
Bear in mind some apps like WhatsApp needs to have a paid software service to transfer 1:1 to your Nord 2 if you're coming from iOS.
I guess it's up to you now. If I have the market for another android, it'll be the new and upcoming Google PIXEL 6.
