QUOTE(attw @ Nov 19 2020, 02:39 PM) Thank you. Was surprised to know about the poor tech & design in iphone 11. I guess apple has fixed it in iphone 12Coz Samsung S20 FE 5G is a fine phone too, don't you think? QUOTE(mycolumn @ Nov 19 2020, 02:43 PM) Good to hear that. Happy iphone user spotted, haha.Have you tried the ios14, widgets and taptic engine features? |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 19 2020, 03:36 PM) It’s not just a design issue, but previously Apple used Intel modems that are generally acknowledged to be inferior to Qualcomm ones. iPhone 12 now uses Qualcomm modems across board so that’s good. Widgets drain the battery, even on iphone and i had bad experience with them back in android in 2013. Seldom use them now but iPhone seem to implement widgets well.S20FE is good but I’m not a fan of paying above RM3k for a phone with a plastic body. I noticed a few good deals for below RM3k now so maybe that’s a good deal. I can definitely vouch for Samsung phones using SD processors instead of Exynos ones. The choice is yours, of course Yeah, so far so good on iOS 14 with them widgets and all, but I expect it to get better over time. Not that many third party widgets yet compared to Android. |

QUOTE(RoastedChicken @ Nov 21 2020, 03:30 PM) This makes me worry to get iPhone 12 mini with so many issues going on. What's the heating issue about? I've not seen it.Flickering Lock screen issue Heating issue Flickering could happen on any OLED screen right to certain people, right? Lock screen should be resolved already with latest patch update |

QUOTE(RoastedChicken @ Nov 21 2020, 05:34 PM) COD on max settings, after 2 rounds temp at 41°C which I believe is normal. I've watched one that mentioned 4k video recording, the mini won't get hot but no temp numbers shown. Even samsung S20 FE 5G, plastic back also similar temperature below 45°C after gaming. Can check Youtube |

QUOTE(cho @ Nov 22 2020, 12:34 PM) just received my Iphone 12 mini blue yesterday at SenHeng. Preordered on 12.11. Thanks for sharingComing from Samsung S10+ and an android user for almost 10 years before. For almost 1 day usage, S10+ is still the best for multipurpose/multitasking device. The features I always used in S10+ but still not find in Iphone :- 1. Samsung Pay. Apple has Apple Pay but still not usable in Malaysia isnt it? Any alternative? 2. Pin to Screen . Just screenshot a certain area on the screen and makes it always on top. 3. App pin. Anyhow I am very amazed with Apple FaceId. can unlock the phone even in complete darkness. Its very good. Night mode in camera also very good. In IP12 , i can select max resolution 2160p in youtube but in S10+ only 1080p. And for those who wonder, Ip12 mini is very nice to hold. Small and light. and typing is actually have no problem for big fat finger as me. 171cm with 90kg. Can even play Mobile Legend/PUBG in Ip12 mini with no problem. Iphone 12 mini is very good as a true phone for call/texting/camera. IP12 mini will be my main phone for now since the battery seems very good too. 50% from 10PM to 15% at 3AM . Downloading app, testing facetime, wemoji a bit, Mobile Legend ,PUBG, youtube and internet browsing. Mobile Legend and PUBG drain the battery. Even though S10+ battery is bigger, but I believe IP12 mini last longer than S10+ in the image attached, bottom is IP11 , with max brightness and night mode screen. Middle is IP12 mini max brightness with Truetone enabled. Top is S10+ almost max brightness with video enhancer. S10+ screen looks much brighter. QUOTE(coolman82 @ Nov 22 2020, 01:23 PM) Those with maxis fibre can combine with their postpaid plans. Probably why most go maxis?QUOTE(choosingname3 @ Nov 22 2020, 05:17 PM) Yeah, from his video noticed the widgets drain battery under home/lock screen |

QUOTE(choosingname3 @ Nov 22 2020, 06:36 PM) It'll be a waste if we don't use the features provided especially when it's helpful. Can turn on power saver if necessary or keep certain widgets mycolumn liked this post
