QUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Nov 26 2020, 02:26 PM) So nice le mini, anywhere i go also only mini got full stock of accessories. haha. But at least good la no stock for the 12/12 Pro. Save me some money a bit. Not surprising since people are going for the middle ground.

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 26 2020, 04:17 PM) You won't regret it, definitely a good choice over the 11. Ya, that's a substantial difference - definitely the 12 is more value for money. Wow, such a big difference in terms of the screen size over the Note 10! Hopefully you can get used to it! Buy now regret later bro True, the difference is just the RAM and camera but only if you take a lot of photos and videos, other than that, 12 is good enough.

QUOTE(RoastedChicken @ Nov 26 2020, 09:46 PM) Haha just back from Ninjaz to purchase some cheap casing. They help me to install tempered glass, I was like nervous the whole time. U know, they hand touch here there, shit. Is it safe for me to wipe my phone with sanitizer or alcohol swab? Will it damage my paintings? Yes, be careful when you wipe with alcohol based because it can melt the glue between the screen and body of the phone. P.S. To those planning to get Mous case: Black Friday sales https://www.storminggravity.com/collections...phone-12-series

QUOTE(RoastedChicken @ Nov 30 2020, 10:17 AM) Aiyak mine YTD can reach up to 5hr 44 mins at 20%. Usually you guys sot is until how much percent? Battery quite important for me as I'm outside without power bank and working in Palm oil mill Why don't bring powerbank? I always bring because usually I'm out the whole day and can't risk my phone dying on me.

QUOTE(FirstAidKit @ Nov 30 2020, 11:02 PM) Just got an ip 12 and got myself a 20w of adapter from the store. Planning to get 2nd third party adapter and charging wire, which one recommended? For adapter, either Ugreen, Anker or Aukey. I'm also looking for another cable too but braided and flexible kind so it can withstand bending. EDIT: ZMI cable is quite good. QUOTE(adamdemz92 @ Dec 8 2020, 02:45 PM) Hi, any idea where can i get Nomad leather case for ip2/ip2pro? Been searching around and they've been sold out. Hmm, the local resellers are also sold out. 1. forexengineer.com.my 2. storminggravity.com Probably due to the influence from forumers.

QUOTE(ijuanp03 @ Dec 9 2020, 10:51 AM) Bummer. But not a deal breaker for me. iPhone post processing is already good. I only remembered using RAW probably less than 1% of the time and that was during the HTC One A9 days because they heavily advertized this feature. This is good for power users though who rely on their phones as their main camera. True, I'm not a mobile photographer that requires photography for my job or anything. The 12 is good enough tbh. QUOTE(attw @ Dec 9 2020, 11:01 AM) Hahaha, yeah, spreading the excitement on the wrong thread I know you have both mini and 12 PM haha

Unofficial review of my iPhone 12 cases:
After using the cases I bought, I can review them now.
1. RhinoShield Mod NX - 8.5/10
Sleek and firm grip due to the material of the bumper made with plastic but doesn't slip through my fingers.
I chose the backplate option because I like customizability and options plus their designs are nice. Plus, with the backplate, it offers a little more protection and you can easily wipe dirt or smudges off it.
Only thing that bothers me is the buttons/tactile feedback, they don't pop out so in order to press the volume up/down and power button, you have to apply some force there.
2. Nomad Rugged Leather Case - 9/10
My first leather case of all the phones I owned before. Another case which has a nice feel and smell to it because despite the back being leather, it's also smooth and the side is made from plastic but it has good grip too.
Quite protective but not scratch resistant because the leather back is prone to scratches. It's not bulky too so it won't feel so big on your hands.
The buttons/tactile feedback are the same as RhinoShield because it's also hard to press as well.
3. Mous Limitless 3.0 - 9/10
Bought this due to the influence of several forumers and from reviews.
As with the cases above, the grip is firm and solid because this is the most protective among the 3.
I chose the Aramid Fiber case because I like carbon fiber and this is a similar but not the same material because Aramid is much tougher and durable.
It's bulkier than the other 2 cases but I don't mind because I'm not worried if I drop the phone. However, the buttons/tactile feedback is great, I don't have to apply pressure at all because the button cut outs pop out.
In a nutshell, I like all the cases above but my favourite is the Nomad.

QUOTE(attw @ Dec 9 2020, 06:17 PM) Hahaha, I didn’t get the Mini in the end bro, got a regular 12 instead. Glad that I did coz the battery on the Mini wouldn’t have been adequate for me based on my usage so far Either that or I’ve been spoiled by the 12 Pro Max before handing it over to my wife So even with the hard to press buttons you still pick the Nomad as your favourite? That’s interesting Oh, ok. Good thing you went with the 12 instead. Yeah, even with the hard press buttons but I like the look of the Nomad case hehe.

QUOTE(attw @ Dec 10 2020, 09:46 AM) Hahaha, that’s over RM400 (or rather close to 500) in cases right there Yup, after extensively trying the demo sets for the 12 and 12 Mini decided to go with the 12 instead It's around there but can't help it when there's so many nice cases Good choice, 12 mini is just too small.

QUOTE(incredibless @ Jun 4 2021, 08:49 PM) How is everyone's battery health? Using the IP12 since Dec'20 [5.5months], today caught my surprised that the battery health drop to 99%. My usage is very minimal, only social media and light camera usage. Using 5w charger and dont let it drop below 40-50%. Whereelse my brother bought around the same time still 100% with usage of 20W fast charger and until 15-20% left. Â kinda weird.. I think mine is the lowest here, 95% but heavy usage and gaming, used from early November. Letting go of my RhinoShield backplate, only used once. Just the backplate, not the whole case.

Anyone's iPhone 12 battery percentage is dropping fast?
Mine is 93% after 6 months. I game quite frequent on it so that might be a contributing factor but previously my XS didn't drop so fast.
EDIT: Fast charging will in fact degrade battery, such as using 30W adapters.

QUOTE(jychow @ Jun 23 2021, 07:24 PM) High drain activities will affect smaller capacity battery more than higher capacity batteries. I believe that is the reason why the battery health dropped faster on the mini Oh, alright.. QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Jun 23 2021, 07:26 PM) Im using fast charging Power delivery adapter. Still at 100% . Nearly 1 year ady Wow, but I guess you do not game or use high battery consumption apps.
