wow...8 months still 100%, i guess fully depends on luck. I use 5w and dont charge overnight and not heavy usage 5.5months drop.lol

6 months in, 100% BH,  I religiously charge up to 80% and discharge till 30%. 20 watt charger.
Dont charge it till 100%. Same effect as discharging it all the way to 0%.

Anyways its the battery, its supposed to deteriorate, don't fuss to much about it. 6 months and at 99% is actually superb.

Medium-heavy use, I use two phones so might not be too taxing on the iPhone battery.
Super tight on the sides, but top and bottom lips kind of loose but negligible.
Yeah mallard original. It's not defective, it's just how plastic is. You can't really see the uneven surface on the ice version, the mallard is kind of opaque and reflective.

For you guys who think this is low, this is my personal record for any phone, ever.

All my androids with 3000mAh batteries or more could never even hit 4.5hrs. And I’m not a heavy user at all. WhatsApp and email n browsing is my usual load at work and at home. With the new phone I even download a lot more apps than usual so it’s a real positive experience for me.

Just a background, my company IT policy will be installed into any android or IPhone and with that it kills android battery. Plus I work in RF industry so my workplace is a cacophony of multiple enterprise WiFi AP’s, and RF testing and interference that you cannot imagine. A weak modem or poor SW will just collapse when introduced to my office. So far I’m happy. Time will tell

my iphone 12 mini also dropped to 95% as not a heavy user.. so disappointed, bought in april not even half year

just realize that my battery already drop to 91%. started to use the phone from december 2020.

mine just drop to 90% after updated to iOS 15.

so i'm not alone! Are you guys gonna claim for battery replacement before the 1 year warranty expires?

For those that say probably because of heavy gaming, that CANNOT be the cause.
Why? Because with my iphone 7, i was playing PokemonGo, Harry Potter Wizards Unite and Mobile Legends and my phone battery did not drain that rapidly. After 2 .5 YEARS of playing those games, my phone battery health was at 85%.
Now, I don't even play any of those games on my new phone(bcoz no time la and MCO) and in just 10 months, my battery health is already at 90%?? Something is not right

The only app that I think is sucking the battery health is the Teams app. Coz when I installed it, my battery health losing 1% a day. Then now after unistalling, my batt didnt degrade that fast..
