I know places like Sen Heng does offer it as well. How about Harvey Norman and etc?
Doubt there's a Q this year but I have a feeling Pacific Blue would be so hard to come by for a bit if I don't get it early
Thanks.

QUOTE(moniqee @ Nov 3 2020, 10:32 AM) Cheers.Gonna make my rounds shortly after this. Pre-order is on the 6th right? I would prefer Harvey Norman coz their instalment plans are usually the easiest to sort out and they have plenty of banks to choose from. Thou my only concern is stocks, not payment method 😂 |

Not an issue since I am located near many shops that sells apples
Last Q, between 12 pro and pro max, which is actually better? I read thru the specs and etc, 12 pro max has a slightly better camera, I think? The rest same. |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 4 2020, 09:35 AM) Ya, almost all reviews unanimously agree on that point You getting pro max right? Ya, you'll have to pick the telco that has the best coverage where you live, work and play, and then choose a plan that fits your usage and budget. The price of the phones offered by telco should be the last consideration. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Nov 4 2020, 11:45 PM) For mobile carrier set pre-order. I had 3 prior experiences - Maxis, Digi then the last one was with Maxis again. Few years back, Celcom had loads of complaints IIRC when some customers opted for the postage options.Maxis year 2013 - self collection at Pavilion KL Digi year 2015 - delivery to KK by GDex Maxis year 2018 - delivery to KK (forgot which courier service already) I received my iPhone from Digi and Maxis on the first day the iPhone went on sale. As a matter of fact, the courier service will make sure you can get your iPhone on the first day. The iPhone in fact was shipped out and reached KK already a few days earlier but they can’t deliver the iPhone to you yet. Got it a couple of days late for some people, only first hundred or so got it within the 1st day. So I'd say if really can't wait, just arrange to self collect at the outlet, albeit the risk of going out nowadays a little high. 13 Nov is really close to festive anyways, I reckon there would be unavoidable delays due to large volume of items to ship. |

I think for this generation, pretty much skippable if you are coming from 11 or so.
But if you are from 8 and below, it's still a worthy upgrade. I am coming from a X and I would think X to 12 Pro would be an upgrade for me, camera wise at least. There's nothing much to be excepted from new phone nowadays anyways except for optimization or better battery life. Apple is not known for slapping huge batteries in their phone anyways, from back then till now In the end, buyers should just pick whatever phone that suits their usage. |

QUOTE(Carlo J @ Nov 5 2020, 08:49 AM) But I'm sure SG sets can claim warranty here.. Basically anything more than 1~2 years in tech world means a huge upgrade already I'm coming from a XS to 12 so that's quite an upgrade. QUOTE(attw @ Nov 5 2020, 08:57 AM) Yeah, they won’t give us bigger batteries but they’ll sell us the ugly smart battery cases, hehehe. But from the X to the 12 Pro it’s definitely worth the upgrade! As usual. I told myself if I really need battery, I would just get a mid range android phone and abuse it.Hear hear Yeah, for Singapore definitely no problem. The other factor to consider is that we don’t have Apple Store here, only authorised service centres. Sometimes they interpret the warranty claims differently so it’s always best to reach out to Apple’s customer support first before walking into these service centres. Which is what I am doing now. Waze and etc all on the Android, iPhone is purely for messaging, social media, camera and etc. No wonder I don't care about battery life mycolumn liked this post

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 5 2020, 09:09 AM) Huh, I thought you’re from 11 Pro Max since you selling off 11 Pro Max cases? And then you get a dead battery faster. Some people just want to carry one phone to do it all ma... in that case the iPhone wouldn’t be the right choice unless you are OK with plugging it into a car charger when driving. Cheaper to get a normal android phone and let it die instead QUOTE(willi_chs @ Nov 5 2020, 09:17 AM) Pre-order is opening tomorrow 9pm gais. Pro max 128gb is enough if you have iCloud. I don't think I will ever use past 128gb even if I am a heavy photo / video user.Thing is, I'm still on the fence whether to get 12 Pro Max capacity of either 128gb or 256gb le? O.o My current usage for XS Max is about 70gb out of 256gb - with over 15gb of photos/videos, most of it r apps / games... Help me Sensei... If you have the extra, obviously more is better. Choice is yours, money is yours too. QUOTE(Pat89 @ Nov 5 2020, 10:20 AM) Celcom is offering 1st 100 online customer will get 24 hours dash delivery guarantee Knowing Celcom, outta the 100, at least 10~20% will have issues Can't imagine how many time their server is going to crash |

QUOTE(Carlo J @ Nov 5 2020, 10:40 AM) Err you can. But I dun recommend charging the phone halfway and plugging it out when you reach the destination.Charging while using Waze and etc also heats up the phone, might lead to shorter battery life. Again, personal preferences. I rather not deal with a dead battery coz iPhones ain't cheap to replace. |

QUOTE(Carlo J @ Nov 5 2020, 11:07 AM) Don't recommend charging halfway and plugging out when I arrived at the destination then what's recommended? I usually charge when it's low and I'm driving quite a distance. I rather just use a powerbank, charge it till it's full then disconnect.Or I dun use my iPhone when I drive QUOTE(ahlin @ Nov 5 2020, 11:10 AM) For you to afford a car with Apple Carplay, battery is not an issue for you But yeah, I rather not charge my phone in the car unless I am super duper desperate. |
