A little late but Ubisoft has confirmed an upcoming patch which will be released in the middle of Dec will re-add blood and decapitation settings into the game .

Not a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

However NG+ needs to come quick as I'm getting bored with not much enemies roaming around nor camps / forts to raid but the ones that were already completed.

Game feels really empty once you complete it compared to odyssey with lots of faction troops roaming and war triggering with ship warfare.

Tested it several times , can confirm the blood and other settings are working now .

Too bad I already plat the game, so no motivation to test. After the season pass content come out then can try.

Now I can finally chop off heads instead of helmets.

Don't forget to mark your calendar on the 21st (same day as Winter Solstice) for the in-game Yule festival.

Valhalla Season 1 Content:

‣ A new settlement area, allowing players to continue to grow and evolve their settlement.
‣ A traditional Viking Festival: the Yule Festival, for players to experience in their settlement. (21st Dec)
‣ A new game mode: the River Raids. Building on Valhalla’s core raiding mechanic the mode will deliver a dynamic, challenging and highly replayable raid experience.
‣ The addition of the Ranks for Jomsviking: in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can not only create their lieutenant to be part of their raiding crew, but also recruit some from their friends and the community. In Season 1, players will see an update to the Jomsviking feature which will allow their Jomsviking to earn XP and rank up – the higher will be the rank of the lieutenant, the more silver players will earn when recruited by other players.

Finally, as for each season, Season 1 will also come with new player skills and abilities, weapons and gear, and cosmetic items for the settlement, longship, horse and raven.

Season 2 begins March 2021, so safe to say we can expect all the above to happen between.

edit: The festival is time limited iinm, so best not miss out on that for some cool in-game goodies.

man, i took 170 hours to finally plat the game.

I must say, for me this has been one of the better AC stories of recent times, both the modern day and historical arc.

During this Yule festival, my Eivor is always drunk everytime I load up the game lol

ya... happened to me too, already 2 weeks and ubisoft did not patch this yet.
temp solution is to do a meditating to fix it.

You cannot be a real viking if you cannot go to battle drunk

I hv just finished the storyline last night, yet still no patch...

I just finished rush the Yule festival quests to get armor set. But then, I'm sticking with my Berserker set till I get Hidden One.

Tempted to get the Gold Edition which was on sale on PS Store atm

I spent more time with the photo more than raiding the settlements
