I'm using whatsapp web always on my browser rarely on phone, the problem is images or video downloaded to the browser not to the app, and discarded when exit, but some photo I need later but it became irretrievable. how can I solve such problem? is there a way to download all media to the phone?

Getting Started

when the photos no longer available means that the person that send the photos already deleted his/hers.
if you mean download to phone, just go to your setting>data and storage see at the section of media autodownload and just pick autodownload everything

The download on the web and the app is not synchronized, turning on auto-download feature on the app will make it download into your phone when the image/video is read through the app
If you just download through the web it won’t automatically download on the app
