Or TS could consider the CX-30 AWD/FWD, though its a bit pricey.

Since you already have a CRV, I assume the 2nd crossover need not be as large. I have a CRV and an F48 (traded in the Myvi Icon for it) at home.

Pros
- 7-sp wet DCT (Getrag) performs well thus far
(the 1st batch came with the Aisin 8-sp torque converter
gearbox)
- relatively good driving experience
(for a guy upgrading to a bimmer from previous local/Japanese
cars)
- Spritely performance from the B48A20
- Good looking "not too boxy" external design
- Good all rounder crossover as an entry into the BMW brand
- comes with powered boot and the spacious, there is also a hidden storage compartment beneath
(where a conventional spare tyre would normally be stored in other cars)

Cons
- Ageing interior design
(against the current and upcoming competition)
- Tight rear seating space
- Fuel economy isn't that great, but I'm not really concerned
about FC.
- Tyres a tad undersized, would hv been nice to have the option to
spec in 19" Style 511 rims.
- Lack of options from BMW M'sia
- Small iDrive 6.5" screen (would hv been nice to have at least an
8" display

Wanted a 3-series at first, but the G20 was not yet launched at the time. The F30 was sold with un-attractive variants -> the 3-pot 318i and the hybrid 330e, both of which were not palatable to me.

My humble comments in general :-

BMW - driver centric cars with excellent dynamics and sharp
handling. External designs are more "handsome", except
for the chipmunk 4 series which are horrendous
Mercs - flashy design and more luxurious, better interior design
Volvo - good balance of design, superior safety features,
performance and value for money. Buy one before they go
fully electrified

if you die die want an F48, get one from the Premium selection or management car fleet.
Good luck TS.

The GLC is a competitor to the G01 X3, not the current X1.

If budget allows, you should top up a bit to get a BPS pre-reg 2019 X3 with all wheel drive, Lux spec.

As an example :-

Not to say that the F48 is a bad car, it isn't.
But as most Malaysians will go for the biggest bang for the buck.
An X3 is the way to go...boxy shape aside.
