QUOTE(AdrianS_99 @ Apr 6 2022, 09:57 AM) For my working company, DG also gave Zyxel EX-3300, 2.4G & 5.0G are combined which is ok for me, firmware are latest. Speed test result here: ( tested on 06/04/2022 9.55AM) my working place was industrial area, always having high load usage, but for this performance, nothing to complain. seems like tm always cap the speed for maxis, celcom and digi users who are riding on their infra, which at most get around 90%++ of speed while unifi can get full speed sometimes even higher than advertised one.

QUOTE(boonping @ Apr 7 2022, 04:04 PM) Just sharing my experience. Applied with Digi for the broadband. After communicated with them on Whatsapp, they initiated the transfer and requested me to go TM point to complete the transfer. While I was still hessitating to do the transfer or not as Unifi been stable, suddenly received a call from Unifi and they offered me RM129 for 300Mbps under stay with Digi Program. so meaning that u did not go to tm point at all during the 10 days period, and they called u to offer u 300Mbps at rm129? how soon u receive the call after u receive the transfer request id from digi?

QUOTE(westlife @ Jun 26 2022, 01:01 AM) hi, u mean u had registered for digi fibre broadband, then tm counter offer u? i tot digi fibre broadband, u must register with digi, then digi will ask for ur info such as ic no, existing unifi address and ic copy, then they will provide u with transfer request id and visit tmpoint to provide them with the id. at which stage did tm call u to counter offer? at the point Digi request transfer ID. Unifi immediately call back to counter offer. Not from agent but directly from Unifi

We already anticipate this, as it is discussed over and over again in the forum. A tactic to make other provider looks inferior to their own Unifi service. However some people may be lucky because TM capped their port speed slightly higher.

So once u received this from DiGi like me below, u did nothing then next day tm called u for offer. I received this yesterday (Saturday) so I am not sure if tm will call today Becos it is not a working day. Still tot of going to tm point to ask for the 300Mbps offer directly. Maybe I should just wait for them to call.

QUOTE(westlife @ Jun 26 2022, 01:13 PM) Seriously if tm’s offer is good, no one will really go for DiGi, maxis or celcom. Well unfortunately to many, good offer by malaysian standard means good pricing, without factoring in performance. Some people switch not necessary because of the pricing, but usage experience that suits their need. Digi's pricing is not that attractive either, unless you are on some of the postpaid plan. I am factoring in latency, stability and the support etc. While now DiGi is not really having very attractive pricing and again need to bear the risk of support and weaker performance such as latency etc. plus there is no public ip. it is seriously not worth it to switch. I think I better hope that tm offers me better deal such as 300Mbps for rm129 to stay with them. To be frank, I have no issue with unifi so far which I had used it for more than 5 to 6 years as of now.

Digi gave me RM 100 for first 2 years. I still sticks to Unifi cause their are still the principal of internet in Malaysia lol And also public iP

They have to pass the router to u, then only the whole process is complete. The installer postpone 3 times. Reason no stock. I file a complain to customer service immediate knock my door on the same day. Cause I don't need their router

So far OK for me on Maxis Fibre, around 310Mbps for 300Mbps package.
