QUOTE(iymm @ May 9 2021, 12:06 AM) Newbie here.. Im wondering if unifi is available at my house, then digi fibre will available also or need extra time for digi to do some infrastructure settings ???? Because today I submitted the apply form for digi fibre but all I get is service not yet ready to use.... Thank you currently only Unifi is available. While for other ISPs have to wait 2-3 months until the migration process of all Unifi Lite users (formerly known as Streamyx) to Unifi fiber is completed

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 8 2021, 11:59 PM) I saw this deal last week and I'm attracted to apply because I'm having PhoneFreedom 190 plan. Not sure if I'm eligible. However, I made a call to CS today to check this out... Unfortunately PF plans are not eligible and only for new subscribers... You can try to drop by any Digi center to confirm. I am also quite confuse especially on Q9 on this page. https://www.digi.com.my/support/help-center...dditional-lines

Since I still cannot move in yet (house under renovation), I will do it later in The Gardens. If Digi doesn’t give me any favorable offer, I will just walk over to Blue Cube to register Celcom Fibre.

Hi, can any one tell me, what type of router Digi fibre supplies to it's subscribers in 2021? I am getting ready to sign up to Digi fibre service after Unifi has opened access of my taman FDP to other ISP. Is the supplied router installed with retail firmware or a Digi specific firmware? Thanks to anyone answering.

Hi Digi fibre user,
Is digi giving us public ip? for example , cctv port forwarding?
i just got an answer from digi helpline. Their answer is yes. I hope to get user feedback here. Thanks
----------------------------------- just got answer from a recently signed up user. Digi gives out Private (internal) addresses like 172.xxx (router external ip) and their external ip if check from myip website is 115.xxx
So it is not a public ip ,for your info

Hi all.
Questions on installation. Do I need to pay extra if I request the installation contractors to pull the fiber optic cable to the store room to the rear of the house? Digi FAQ mentioned the a maximum of 15m fiber cable length from the house outer wall. What is the cost for the contractor to pull fiber cable from under the rooftop tiles above the ceiling? Digi fibre employ its own contractors for installation or unifi contractors are involved?

Also, anything that is out of the standard installation, you will need to pay. The amount you can nego with the contractor.

Signing up for Digi fiber is easy, but when it comes to network, you will have to deal with reality. Digi does not own the infra, thus getting any issue fixed can be a 1 day wait to a few days. So expect such down time. With the merger coming up, expect more hassle getting something fix.
