I also considered Celcom Fibre but somehow Maxis offers me better rate.

Private IP is one of the reasons I didn't consider Digi Fibre though I can get tonnes of rebates and whatnot. In the end, went for Maxis Fibre for my own house. RM 129 for 300Mbps (for 24 months), is not too bad, and requesting public IP is just a call away. I am having public IP now on Maxis.

QUOTE(wiraone @ May 17 2022, 12:07 PM) Can anybody confirm that all Digi packages are using private IP? The latest promo seems to be quite interesting, RM140 for 500Mbps with user who're on Digi postpaid 90. Yes, and cannot request for public IP. wiraone and hasmidzul_jojo liked this post

QUOTE(westlife @ Jun 26 2022, 01:05 AM) seems like tm always cap the speed for maxis, celcom and digi users who are riding on their infra, which at most get around 90%++ of speed while unifi can get full speed sometimes even higher than advertised one. So far OK for me on Maxis Fibre, around 310Mbps for 300Mbps package. |

QUOTE(joeyrm @ Jan 18 2023, 02:22 PM) I believe this is a connection reset which is done every 3 days. This is usually done to ensure connection is suspended for those users do not pay the monthly bill. I experienced the same thing on maxis fiber (reset every 24hrs) few years ago prior to MCO, but nowadays its roughly once every 2 weeks. I didn’t know there is such a thing. Never face any outage like this with Maxis Fibre or UniFi Fibre. |

QUOTE(asellus @ Jan 19 2023, 07:04 AM) This does happened too to Maxis Fiber, but IP address will not change if you have public IP assigned to you. Yes, mine is public IP and I didn’t notice such a thing. At least I can use it day and night without any interruptions. Plus, I have a lot smart devices connected to the Internet all the time. Luckily no issue. |
